M.F.S: Observatory return to the Spotlight Mix

If you have the slightest interest in electronic music, there is not much possibility you have missed out on the vital years and progression of the prolific Italian duo, M.F.S: Observatory.
Hailing from the beautiful Naples, now UK based, they draw influence from their eccentric surroundings, letting elements from both places breathe in their sound.
When you hear their sound you immediately think to yourself, big room, dynamite, and imaginative, and you definitely will not be the first or last person to think these things. Recent times have seen the M.F.S: guys turn out releases on essential labels such as Green Velvet’s Relief Records, Food Music UK, and ViVa Music.
Well deserved feats for such hard-working producers. A stamp of approval you could say. Somehow between frequent long studio sessions and playing gigs they manage to steer the ship of their Observatory Music imprint, which features releases from themselves and carefully selected friends and fellow producers.
The raw talent and passion for sound roots back for many years drawing influences from some of the finest to ever grace the industry including Radio Slave, Kerri Chandler, Robert Hood, and Steve Lawler. Also, a huge nod goes towards Maya Jane Coles some who has inspired them, and which they supplied a remix of one of her tracks on the famous, Skint Records.
In their short time amongst the thick of things in the industry, the support for M.F.S: Observatory has excelled way beyond their imagination with artists such as Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Solardo, Reboot, Joris Voorn, Nic Fanciulli and many more all believing in their sound, supporting their tracks. More vital labels they have appeared on include Little Helpers, Roush, Smiley Fingers and My Vision Records.
2019 has been a rollercoaster ride for the pair, with the momentum carrying full steam ahead in to 2021. This year they played in the UK, Italy and a gig close to their heart in Barcelona, and look to broaden their horizons in the next years expanding around Europe and beyond.
