M.F.S: Observatory Continues Alphabet Series With  Enormous Techno 3 Tracker “Y”

Share

M.F.S: Observatory continues his heat streak deep into summer with another dynamite EP forthcoming on the eponymous Observatory Music label.

The Italian techno aficionado explores innovative and industrial territory with this three-tracker, experimenting with his machines to create various strains of sound for the peak hours of the night, full of character and energy. This is the “Y” EP.

EP opener “Y1” has a hazy mood from the get-go, an enormous kick drives, vocal samples flash in and out, opening up the six-minute trip into trippy territory. “Y2” packs a serious punch, but still keeps some playfulness at its heart. Ready to ignite the floors of concrete jungles around the world. Rounding off this raw and rugged package, Mattia serves up “Y3”, a thumping encounter, teasing you down a path of curiosity, deep into the night. Three tracks you can get lost too.

The London-based artist never tires from developing his sound, always looking to strain the boundaries of his distinctive sound, creating unique atmospheres amongst various realms of techno.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
