MKEY debuts on Observatory Music with hi ‘Mesmerized’ EP

M.F.S: Observatory are pleased to welcome MKEY on Observatory Music. He lands with his one-track Ep titled “Mesmerized ” dropping in September, with two fantastic remixes from the bosses and Laesh.

In just 2 short years MKEY, the musical alias of Scottish DJ Mikey Watson, has already started to gain recognition. With the blistering technical ability and the innate knowledge of how to work a dance floor, he has already begun to make his moves in the electronic music scene. Despite his early musical experiences being far more traditional, he played the bagpipes to a world-class level. MKEY’s passion has always been electronic music. MKEY’s sound sits firmly in the realms of underground house music, minimalistic right through to solid, grooving tech-house. Each of his sets has nods toward his influences within the underground scene. Ranging from the established names such as Steve Lawler and Hot since 82 to more underground artists such as Bizen Lopez.

Opening the release is our premiere ‘Mesmerized’. It’s a track that has a powerful bass and, classy vocals, and cool minimal vibes. The Label bosses remix a big room Techno banger topped with bit-crushed melodic arpeggio and crazy vocals. To conclude is Laesh’s remix. It’s an unmistakable style, full of energy remix. The bass is the soul of the track very powerful massive drops with a big Acid Soul.
