Delah kicks of new imprint Low Syndicate Audio

Share

Low Syndicate was born in 2015 as a promoter specialising in the most sober and mature side of the low frequencies, playing styles like Drum & Bass, Jungle, Dubstep, Juke, Breakbeat or Footwork in their parties at some underground clubs from Valencia (Spain).

Six years later, after directing a radio show on Bassport.FM, they released their first EP in November 2020 (‘Valencia Manifest’ EP) on HC Records, and currently host the ‘Drum and Bass is Massive’ show on Bakala Radio. Now, Low Syndicate are pleased to present their own label, Low Syndicate Audio.

Delah is the one in charge of inaugurating the fledgling label. Delah has previously released music as Keos, and is the latest addition to the syndicate’s team, and their youngest member too. His first track as Delah (‘Riot Thing’) was included in ‘Valencia Manifest’ EP.

‘Bigman’ is Delah’s debut EP, in which he demonstrates his great talent, potential, and elegance in dealing with the deepest, most minimalist, and darkest side of Drum & Bass. Inspired by Africa, Delah invites us to an allegorical sound journey through some of the ancestral myths and current realities of the Black Continent, where the wild and the civilised, the indigenous and the imposed, coexist in a disorderly and chaotic way. The release compiles 4 tracks: ‘Bigman’, ‘Gorila Warface’, ‘Lost Signal’ and ‘Sirius B’, which will be available on the main digital platforms from June 5th. It also contains a bonus track: ‘Anansi’, which has been released already as a freebie.

As for the sound, the entire EP has a homogeneous line materialised in different intensities. Harrowing basslines are intertwined with clear drums and accompanied by minimalist details and cinematic atmospheres, configuring a soundscape like Africa’s landscape, which is captivating and calm aswell as raw and hostile, where only a Bigman can survive…

Today we premiere ‘Lost Signal’ which you can check out below. Delah’s ‘Bigman’ EP is available for you to grab via the purchase button beneath the Soundcloud player!
