Renegade Riddims: Dedman

Dedman, aka Josh Schofield, is a Drum and Bass producer and DJ based in Bristol which, if you don’t know, is a veritable hive for fresh beats and artists. The amount of artists both old and new breed which are coming through from Bristol is astonishing!

He has spent the last few years developing his DJ style and has amassed releases on a number of imprints including Lifestyle Recordings, Lost Recordings, Skank’n’Bass, Four Corners Music and Parallel Depth. His high energy productions and DJ sets have gained him traction and support in the local scene.

Dedman comes from an eclectic musical background, his precision-engineered sound spans the breaths of the Drum & Bass spectrum. His releases have garnered support from artists such as LTJ Bukem, Fade Black, Fre4knc, Rene LaVice, Charli Brix, Invadhertz, Tephra, Kyrist, Philth, Objectiv and Skank’n’Bass. Dedman’s catalogue continues to grow at an incredible rate along with his following.

We’ve been supporting Josh for sometime now and have premiered at least 6 of his tracks, each output gets better and better. We confidently predict a big future for this up and coming producer and DJ.
