HRVST is set to release his Two-Track ‘Finger Wagging/Like a Robot’ EP via Late Night Munchies on Friday 1st April.
Producer, DJ, and Visual Designer: HRVST is no stranger to the dance music scene has come to age when dance music got its feet back from being smothered by the RAVE act, and subsequently grew into the commercial space it is today. Having spent the last two decades honing his production, he challenges the perception of genre definitions with a signature sound of minimal bassline focused tech house and garage.
Over the course of the pandemic, HRVST dedicated his time to mastering the craft of working with artists via online Zoom courses remotely and Twitch demo feedback streams. This dedication and commitment have already resulted in successful releases featuring gutter basslines and guaranteed vibes.
HRVST recently dropped “Speaker Crashing” on House of Hustle’s Bang For Free label series and launched The Slabbed Out Sesh, a monthly 2-hour radio show on Data Transmission Radio, that is regularly promoted across their platform and social channels and features his favourite selections.
With no signs of slowing down, HRVST can be found experimenting with electronic circuit design, digital media design, as well as production and DJ streams via Twitch. With more releases lining up for 2022, HRVST is proof that with dedication, determination and hard work you can manifest your dreams, and it’s a safe bet you’ll be hearing a lot more from HRVST in the near future.
He says “I’ve been raving since I was 17 and started producing when I was 11 or 12, so to finally feel like things are progressing after gaining as much knowledge as I could over the years has been incredible and really helped lift me out of some dark spots I’ve fallen into mentally at times. One of the first house heads that I became good friends with told me that as I got older I’d convert to house music, and I think this EP is me definitely fully embracing that but also adding my own influences from the bass music I grew up listening to.”
