Renegade Riddims: Ezza
Share
Ezza is a multi-genre DJ from the South West. She began her DJing journey at the start of the first lockdown and quickly established herself in the Bristol club scene with her eclectic array of styles. Ezza is not shy to switch up genres during her sets, jumping between Drum & Bass, Techno, Breakbeat and UK Garage.
As a versatile DJ, she has been recognised for her high-energy mixes and gained residencies with established brands. Ezza has supported the likes of Roni Size, General Levy and Sweet Female Attitude. She is no stranger to the festival circuit either and has been seen playing at Shambala, Beat-Herder and Mucky Weekender.
Back in the summer we ran a competition alongside Mucky Weekender to win a set and she was selected as the overall winner of the competition. This was by no means an easy win, it saw her up against a really high calibre of artists, but it was down to her eclectic taste and energy that saw her come out on top. We attended the festival and got to the stage she was on in the nick of time and witnessed the whole set from start to finish…it was insane! Across the weekend we heard a lot of noise about her set as everyone who attended absolutely loved it.
We predict big things for Ezza!
So, off the back of Mucky Weekender, I invited Ezza to join our Renegade Riddims series, and I am really glad I did and that she agreed! Ezza has delivered yet another outstanding mix with music from the likes of Numa Crew, Basstripper, Mandidextrous, Upgrade, Darth Leng, Voltage, Top Cat, Phibes and loads more!
