Bringing together an impressive lineup of thought leaders, the summit will feature Grammy Trustee Dani Deahl, Chicago house legend DJ Lady D, and iconic producer Terry Hunter, among others.

With a mix of panels and discussions, attendees will learn firsthand from experts on how to increase revenue, build the right team, and stay resilient in the face of industry challenges. The strong national interest in Chicago Music Nexus has already drawn participants from major cities across the U.S., including Denver, Philadelphia, and Houston, underscoring the event’s broad appeal and relevance.

The summit’s co-founders bring extensive experience to the table. Sherm recently hosted John Summit’s “Conversations and Q&A” event in Chicago, while Olivia Mancuso’s recent appointment as ARC ambassador and brand consultant underscores her influence and strategic expertise in the electronic music scene. Together, they’ve crafted an event that’s both transformative and accessible, aimed at providing actionable steps for artists looking to advance their careers.

Among the standout sessions is Monetizing Your Personal Brand, featuring recent collaborator Mike Salvione, who I joined at ADE for a panel and participated in a Demo Feedback session on Data Transmission. Together with other top industry names, Salvione will share insights on transforming passion into profit.

Panel Highlights:

  • Monetizing Your Personal Brand: Mike Salvione, Celia Rose, and Anj Fayemi will dive into ways artists can expand their income streams and create lasting brands.
  • Building Your Dream Team: Kristin Wollam, Franz Hilberath, and Michael Sherman will explore assembling the right support system and strategy for success.
  • Adapt or Die (Parts 1 & 2): With panelists like Dani Deahl, DJ Lady D, and Terry Hunter, these sessions focus on resilience and brand innovation in an evolving music landscape.

With immersive panel discussions, gourmet food, and speciality cocktails, Chicago Music Nexus is set to deliver an unparalleled networking experience. Emerging artists and professionals will leave with tangible insights and connections, helping them forge a path forward in today’s competitive music industry.
