Online Fantasy Football Banned in New York

It is clear that DraftKings and FanDuel are the leaders of a massive, multibillion-dollar scheme intended to evade the law and fleece sports fans across the country. Today we have sent a clear message: not in New York, and not on my watch.

Online Fantasy Football is now banned in the state of NY. I couldn't even get through his quoted statement without stopping to laugh at how epically over-the-top the Attorney General was. A "scheme" to "fleece" sports fans across the country? Give me a break.

But if the AG is so worried about protecting consumers from getting fleeced, does he plan on shutting down the state lottery next? Oh right --

If there is a silver lining in this for NY residents, it's that they no longer have to suffer through the incessant commercials produced by those companies.
