Oh Joe!

Stating he'd retire at the end of the season, Joe Paterno apparently thought he could exit the stage on his own terms. It would seem the board of trustees didn't think that was soon enough, when they fired him and the University President yesterday. Talk about a terrible way to go out. Joe Paterno should have been remembered as one of the greatest coaches of all time, but instead will be remembered for standing idly by while a colleague molested children for over 10 years.
