Nobuharu Morimoto announces his ‘Shinonome’ EP

Share

For Say What? next instalment on the label they have another Japanese artist – Nobuharu Morimoto. From his home base in Tokyo, he delivers stomping, funky and fast-forwards tracks, that are made to go beyond the Japanese borders and that’s how he got on our radar

We start with our premiere ‘Shinonome’ – a piano-driven piece of magic, that could work for techno as well as house heads. His strong drums and the minimalistic use of the piano make it a masterpiece, that will carry you away above and beyond

‘Hyouryu’ is more experimental and hypnotic, yet still has Nobuharu’s signature drums with a beautiful sonic low end energy – great for those early mornings!

We finish the release off with ‘Tsugakuro’ – a vocal inspired track with weird elements, that grab you from the first go. Nobuharu shows his skills in keeping things simple yet elegant, with a sparkle of Detroit influenced synth works

They said “All in all we are more than happy to have him on board and welcome him into our ever-growing Say What? family”

Check out ‘Shinonome’ on our NUDE Techno channel today, and grab it on Beatport.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
