Share

Blossom Hill reimagines the deeply personal narrative of their debut LP with the upcoming ‘Home Colours Remix EP,’ set for release on 14th January 2024 via Loose Fit Records. This dynamic reinterpretation breathes new life into the original album, transforming its intricate emotions into four club-ready remixes crafted for the dancefloor.

With early support from heavyweights like Jamie XX, Moxie, Pinch, and Suchi, the EP features an impressive lineup of remixers: Facta, Debba, Kin Teal, and Pépe. Each artist brings their unique sonic signature, creating a fresh, energetic lens on the original tracks:

  • Facta delivers a cohesive, techno-leaning take.
  • Kin Teal incorporates footwork influences with a distinctive twist.
  • Debba sharpens the edges with a tougher UK sensibility.
  • Pépe provides a beautifully abstract, atmospheric reinterpretation.

“Releasing the original music was cathartic, but handing over the stems for remixes felt like the next chapter. It’s thrilling to see these ideas reimagined for the dancefloor.”

Blossom Hill describes the process as deeply transformative

The ‘Home Colours Remix EP’ is a testament to the duality of music—both personal and communal. While the original LP explored fluid genre spaces and complex emotions, this remix project hones in on rhythm and energy, ready to captivate club audiences.

‘Home Colours Remix EP’ lands on Loose Fit Records on 14th January 2024.

Stay tuned for a bold reimagining that promises to light up the dancefloor.
