“As the lockdown continues and pay packets are being stung I thought I would share with you 5 great free Audio plugins for Music Producers”.

Valhalla Super Massive

This is by far the best free plugin I’ve ever found its a reverb & delay all rolled into one which generates some otherworldly sounds! Its particularly good used on a bus. Automate some tracks going to it and you’ll get some really great suspense and builds in your tracks! There’s loads of great presets to get you started too!

Cableguys Pancake 2

This is my go-to plugin for panning! It gets applied to everything that I want to pan and it is great used after delays in a chain to get some really great results! You can draw your own pan patterns and there’s some great presets too! 100% recommend this!

Streaky Smiley

A simple and fun EQ, works great on a master channel to add some low and high energy to your track. I find this particularly useful when bouncing a track to test and send to people to check before sending off for mastering.

Klanghelm IVGI

This is a great saturation plugin that I find works great on bus tracks. I especially like applying it lightly to vocals to give them more energy and on percussion drum busses!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
