Lag lands on London Based Don’t Recordings with his ‘Clique Of One’ EP

Long-running London based label Don’t Recordings has always remained true to its vision, releasing REAL Techno that ignores cynical trends and instead oozes characterful and no-messing tracks for special party moments.

They kick off 2022 with a really big one!

Serbian Techno artist LAG has always had a very distinctive style and here he makes his Don’t Recordings debut with a 4 track ‘Clique Of One’ EP that builds impressively on that existing sound resulting in an inspired whirlwind of colour!

A promoter of underground culture, a DJ and a respected producer, Lag is at the forefront of the new wave of techno artists. Growing up in the turbulent Balkans, he developed a unique outlook on expression, choosing electronic music to be the channel for his creative discharge.

While the acquired punk influences and classical music education shines through his steady output, he doesn’t shy away from exploring beyond what he is most known for – gritty, rhythmical techno with an attention-grabbing attitude. While Lag’s releases on MORD, THEM and Elements have put him on the map, his remix work and odd tracks released on various labels show diversity in what he is capable of.

These tracks have been tearing up discerning dance floors in the hands of LAG and label owner JEROME HILL, with ‘Znoj’ also being featured on OBJEKT’s much lauded 2020 Essential Mix. So, with testing completed it’s time for a deserved release on Vinyl and Digital with full artwork sleeve by Atact.uk!
