In 2021, Daniel founded LOGIA Sound Collective, an independent label dedicated to showcasing clubbers as artists and positioning Jerusalem as a key player in the electronic music scene. With the label, Daniel aims to spotlight local talent while also reaching out to a global audience, creating a platform for innovation and collaboration.

Following the release of his debut album, “TEMPLE,” Daniel continues to produce original music and expand his label through local and international projects. As he carves his niche in the global electronic scene, his goal is to further solidify LOGIA Sound Collective and make his mark on the ever-evolving world of techno.

Gary Burrows is an up-and-coming Techno DJ and Producer from Birmingham UK who is firmly establishing a name for himself within the techno scene. Gary’s influences from the harder side of Techno and Old Skool hardcore are clear to hear. Gary grew up with old rave tapes being left around the house by his brother and sister and once Gary listened to these he became addicted to dance music and was hungry to discover more.

Gary burst onto the scene with his explosive, energetic and driving Techno in 2016 with two tracks signed to Spektre’s Respekt Recordings. This was immediately followed up with another EP signed to Respekt. Since then Gary has had a number of releases across some huge labels including Funk N Deep, Layer 909, Eclipse, Orange Recordings and Technologic. Gary has had 2 tracks feature in the Beatport Techno top 100, with the highest-ranking track reaching number 11, and another track reaching number 21 in the Traxsource Techno top 100.

His 2-tracker of intense peak-time techno. ‘One of Us’ kicks off with a tight groove building towards a ravey break, combining melodic pads with energetic rave stabs.

We premiere ‘This Trip’ which combines hypnotic vocals with a stripped-back and linear arrangement – super-functional. We can’t wait to hear this one played out on festivals this summer!

Perhaps for the vocal, perhaps for the synth, “7 AM” physically transports the listener into another dimension, the crispy rides keep the rhythm together with the kick drum and the breaks arrives unexpectedly, leaving the listener immersed in the two synth lines waiting for the powerful restart that sounds loud in the chest as under a speaker wall.

“I’ve always loved 90’s house and rave music so I think I incorporate it in my music without even realizing. The theme for this EP in my head was ‘Feel good music’ and I think tracks like Don’t Go really help encapsulate that whereas I think 7am is the most unique of all the tracks as it goes down the more technoy route of my production but also still having that feel-good energy” – GES 

Ben’s remix adds a tribal touch and gives the song a new look without distorting the original version. Pressing and primitive, a straight sound that never stops pushing on the accelerator.

“Don’t Go”, “Your Love” and “Take Me Away” add the “house” touch that was missing to the EP, classic synth piano lines that take us back to the early 90s proving without a doubt that GES has an extraordinary capacity to move between Techno House sub-genres without losing his stylistic touch. Considering his young age all this has an even greater value.

This podcast is a sum up of what the DARK CHANELL sounds stands for. It’s the sound that I used to play out at the end of the 90s. Funky, tribal, hard and abstract. Sorry, I guess it’s more than 10 words! ; )

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
My favourite track on it, DARK CHANELL tracks aside, is Renato Cohen – Pontape
(Planetary Assault Systems Remix). What an absolute gem! It works for my DARK CHANELLsound and dance floor but how the elements are in there, is very unconventional. While still staying effective, tribal and abstract!

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
The special ingredient is the little flashbacks and feels to the end of the 90s with tracks like Dave Clarke – The Wolf and Joey Beltram’s – Curb. There’s a bunch of tracks still around with that feel and I’m happy to be mixing current tracks in between those tracks. The mixing style is alsovery much 90s inspired with a lot of trickery in there.

Tell us about your next EP?
My next EP is an ode to the epic clubs that made the scene at the end of the 90s. I myself had my debut as a Techno DJ at Awakenings, Amsterdam. I remember playing at The End in London. Never been to Tresor or The Fuse but those clubs were a big influence on my sound back then. So every track of the EP is named after a venue, as a tribute!

What have you got coming up?
I’ll keep on enjoying making relentless Techno. I’ve enjoyed doing this mix as well. I’m happy I can keep on pushing this funky, tribal and abstract sound in the modern-day Techno sound.

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
Please keep an eye out on DARK CHANELL, I’m not planning on stopping this project any timesoon. Techno is timeless!

Based in Manchester, Transcode has made numerous outings on other high-flying techno imprints such as Monika Kruse’s Terminal M and Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth On Acid.

Transcode made his Respekt debut in 2019 when he dropped an EP that also featured a collaboration with SAMA, but this time he returns with a solo release. Boasting numerous tracks charting inside of Beatport’s top 10 techno section, this hard-hitting release blends a dystopian atmosphere with pounding percussion and ominous sub-bass.

“Synesthesia” opens the release with its pounding kick drum and building suspense of the ambient synth line, which leads towards the trippy vocals and breakbeat percussion of the main breakdown, before an explosive drop that’s precision-engineered for maximum dance floor impact!

Track two “Floki” is an altogether different kind of beast, its understated style focuses on a stripped back groove with dark atmospherics that creates a hypnotic vibe focused around breakbeat rhythms. Dark and intense, its underground style is in line with other techno artists such as Shlomi Aber.

She has spent more than twenty years perfecting her intuition, technique and building up a vinyl collection that oscillates between timeless techno and the most select house, making the most of the nuances that exist between said genres and all their sub-genres have to offer.

Maybe you remember some of her emblematic vinyl-only ‘All Night Long’ sessions or maybe you saw her perform in London, Berlin, Brussels or during her time in Latin America.

She might have made her mark on one of your idyllic summer nights in Ibiza or perhaps you heard her at a festival or a distinguishing club in Barcelona at her ‘Selectors’ night; always in constant evolution, with all possibilities still open for exploration.

You may be familiar with her well-respected label, Chapter Records, founded in 2014. You may have even played or listened to one of her releases yourself, or perhaps heard some of her tracks in one of Dave Clarke’s sessions. You might have also already discovered her latest work in the studio, such as her ‘Different Approach’ EP on RSPX (Rekids Special Project) or her latest releases on Symbolism, Ben Sims’ label.

It is never too late to make new discoveries, those which will never be forgotten. You may not know Chapter Records or Selectors, or even Anika Kunst herself but in time and space, the devotion many of us feel for the clubbing scene strengthens our bond and binds us to each other, unyielding as we move together.

He started playing the piano as a toddler and just never stopped, moving to classic music, blues guitar, and then techno. With many influences from rock like Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Muse, Smashing Pumpkins, classical music and also soundtracks from cinema, he tries to recreate dark deep and futuristic grooves, melodies and atmospheres in his production to take the dance floor in a mysterious trip.

In his journey, Frank was supported by Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, the Yellowheads, Chris Lidding, Frankyeffe, Spartaque, Sasha Carassi and many more. Having is a head full of ideas, Frank is now making more production and more music to share with the public and other artists. There is still a long road ahead but Frank is ready to make this journey.

There are multiple tracks that got my attention in this podcast: for starters, I played two new IDs of mine which I’ve not signed yet. Sisko Electrofanatic is probably my favourite of the bunch.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?:
That is a thought question, in every mix, I try to play the music that better suits my taste. To me, in every DJ set, the secret ingredient is the culture of the DJ

Tell us about your next EP?
I have two EPs ready to be published in which I tried a darker sound. However, due to COVID I decided to not send them out

What have you got coming up?:
I’m trying my best to collab with some great artists so you expect some collaborations in my future

These might be hard times for our industry but I’m confident that very soon we will all be able to rave and dance harder than before. Honestly I can not wait

They kick off 2022 with a really big one!

Serbian Techno artist LAG has always had a very distinctive style and here he makes his Don’t Recordings debut with a 4 track ‘Clique Of One’ EP that builds impressively on that existing sound resulting in an inspired whirlwind of colour!

A promoter of underground culture, a DJ and a respected producer, Lag is at the forefront of the new wave of techno artists. Growing up in the turbulent Balkans, he developed a unique outlook on expression, choosing electronic music to be the channel for his creative discharge.

While the acquired punk influences and classical music education shines through his steady output, he doesn’t shy away from exploring beyond what he is most known for – gritty, rhythmical techno with an attention-grabbing attitude. While Lag’s releases on MORD, THEM and Elements have put him on the map, his remix work and odd tracks released on various labels show diversity in what he is capable of.

These tracks have been tearing up discerning dance floors in the hands of LAG and label owner JEROME HILL, with ‘Znoj’ also being featured on OBJEKT’s much lauded 2020 Essential Mix. So, with testing completed it’s time for a deserved release on Vinyl and Digital with full artwork sleeve by Atact.uk!

Alex has been an enthusiast of electronic music since he was very young. He makes a full immersion behind the software to be able to realize his projects. In 2013 he decide to sue his study at SAE, in Milan. Continuing to work hard, in December 2020 he has the opportunity to release his first work in collaboration with STOMP BOXX on the legendary label Drumcode.

Simone Volpato aka STOMP BOXX. Born in Venice began his career as a producer and DJ at the age of 15 when he sold his bass guitar and used the money to buy his first console.

The track has been in the playlist of every set from label boss Timmo since the summer, and it has proven to be a powerful peak-time weapon. The Italians stay true to themselves and deliver their signature synth-heavy all-out analogue sound, making their debut single to remember.

Balthazar & JackRock take charge of the remix duties after their successful top five hits “Augmented Moment”. While keeping the original flow of the track, the duo has implemented their hypnotic sound and delivered a very energetic take on “Tropospheric”.

Frank Biazzi is a techno dj and producer. He gradually became a respected DJ and a well-known name in the techno scene. He held residencies in several well-reputaded clubs and played every Saturday in one of the most important Belgian clubs “Lagoa” from 1996 till 2004. He has released huge techno productions which have been charted and played by a lot of key producers. Right from the first track “Turbulence”, which was released by Lupp records.
Carl Cox, Dave Clarke, Monika Kruse, Christian Smith, Marco Bailey, Dj Rush. They all put “Turbulence” in their top 10 playlists.

“Stellar“ kicks things off, with a rolling groove and tight acid hook. “Machine“ offers a similarly relentless combination of synth stabs and catchy vocals, laid on an energetic groove. Torsten Kanzler delivers a remix of “Stellar“, introducing a new melodic lead theme alongside the original acid-line. Finally, “Extasy“ mixes things up with a breakbeat, combined with another acid-lead and great vocals.
