Exile & Coppa debut on Phase Records DNB with ‘Levels’ EP

This one’s on another level! As Phase Records DNB celebrates the milestone of 20 releases, it felt only right for the bosses to do something extra special for this one. The label is thrilled to announce that Drum & Bass heavyweights, Exile and Coppa, are making their mark on the imprint with their ‘Levels’ EP!

Do they even need an introduction? These two are no strangers to the game. Exile’s production has taken the scene by storm, with award nominations and collaborations with both seasoned veterans and exciting newcomers. He’s even launched his own label, Banished Beats. Joining him is the internationally renowned MC Coppa, whose career spans over 15 years. Coppa is known for his versatility, dominating stages worldwide, and his unmistakable voice has become a staple in the underground music scene.

Their ‘Levels’ EP is a testament to the duo’s talent and how lethal their collaboration can be. The four tracks are packed with rolling, aggressive drums, paired with massive basslines, and sprinkled with ear-catching sound effects. It’s hard not to be impressed by the intensity of this EP, and Coppa’s flawless narrative flow only enhances Exile’s razor-sharp production. Each tune is a certified weapon, and the cohesiveness of the project is incredibly satisfying to listen to. That said, each track has its own unique flavour, making it tough to pick a favourite – the team certainly struggles to choose!

Label boss Gifta also makes a guest appearance on the closing track, ‘Type To Make You Go,’ adding a dose of flair and cheeky attitude to the EP. There’s truly something for everyone in this project, and the label is proud to be its home.
