Sum up this podcast in 10 words…

Where I’ve come from and musically where I’m going to

What’s your personal favourite track on it?

It’s a toss-up between “Missing You” which is the most requested track at gigs and Emmaculate’s remix of “You Ain’t Breakin”, just because he’s absolutely delivered some absolute disco magic. Am a huge fan of his productions.

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?

A dash of remix, a splash of original and a taste of unreleased goodness

Tell us about your next EP?

“You Ain’t Breakin My Heart” on Fool’s Paradise started as a collaboration between myself and Sydney’s finest, Mr Husky.  Husky had previously remixed one of my singles (which had done very well) and we’d always hoped to work on a single together. I wrote the original to “You Aint Breakin” and shared it with him and he continued to work on the idea, adding the vocal from fellow Aussie, Xira. Fast forward to Brighton Music Conference and Xira was in the UK, so we got to hang out and both agreed a disco remix would be a great addition to the package. I connected with the amazing Emmaculate, and he delivered some magical disco goodness.

I was lucky enough to road test the original in DJ sets during summer last year and Husky put together the amazing VIP which really went down well during my Cafe Mambo Ibiza DJ sets during 2023. We agreed this certainly had to be added to complete the package.

What have you got coming up?

Some exciting releases on well-known labels, nothing I can announce, but I’m grateful that after many years of producing for myself and others, that the dance labels that mean so much to me, are keen to hear (& sign) my new music. The only thing I can probably officially say, is a collab with Angello Ferreri, which is out at the end of February.

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?

Data Transmission is such a great portal, full of useful resources for DJs and readers alike. I’m sincerely grateful to Grahame and the team for inviting me to create the mix and I really hope you enjoy listening x
