In recent years, Huxley has focused on expanding his influence by launching his own record label, Dumb Safari. Founded in 2022, Dumb Safari has become a platform for Huxley to explore and share his eclectic sound.

The label’s releases, such as the debut track “AFN,” showcase a raw and dark funk aesthetic, setting the tone for the imprint’s future direction. Notably, the label has also provided a space for emerging artists, with releases like Uncle Knows’ “925” EP that taps into old-school rave culture.

Huxley’s own discography continues to grow, with recent releases like his remix of “Shadow Rush” on Poker Flat and his collaborative efforts on “Saving You” with Wouter S underlining his continued relevance in the scene.

His work, marked by a refusal to stay confined to one genre, has seen him featured on major labels like Toolroom and Knee Deep In Sound, ensuring his place as a respected figure in electronic music.

I actually got to do it live at Pirate Studios. It was fun to just mess around and record the mix in somewhere that isn’t my house!

My next release is ‘House It Up’ coming out on DFTD on September 6th. It’s my first time back on a Defected label for years. Watch out for many more to come from me there in the near future…

By day, RN ISMO saves lives, but by night, he immerses himself in the creation of music that has quickly made him an unforgettable name in the electronic scene. Drawing inspiration from Detroit’s underground, his music showcases a minimalist approach while focusing on groovy rhythms and memorable hooks. This unique sound has won him support from industry giants like Lee Foss, Jamie Jones, and Kevin Saunderson, among others.

“Stuck In My Mind” by RN ISMO is the result of an inspiring trip to Scotland in late 2021, where a moving vocal sample sparked the creation of a gorgeous hybrid between the electronic genres of tech house and melodic techno.

Blending meaning and emotions with hypnotic rhythms innate to these genres, the song pays tribute to Detroit’s musical legacy, marking a bold new direction in RN ISMO’s career. This piece both showcases his musical evolution but also his desire to push boundaries within the house, techno, and the inexhaustible space in between where more can always be discovered.

The track is deeply influenced by Huxley and Ramin, whose guidance in Ibiza greatly impacted RN ISMO’s artistic and personal growth. Their teachings on authenticity and the importance of connections have infused “Stuck In My Mind” with a profound significance beyond its sound.

The idea for “Stuck In My Mind” first came to me during my trip to Scotland at the end of 2021. 

Discovering a poignant vocal sample stirred deep emotions within me, while crafting diverse drum grooves reflecting the essence of Detroit added depth to the project. 

Unlike my previous works, this record is a unique homage to house music, exploring new creative territories. 

Above all, it’s the people involved who give this project its true significance. 

Huxley and Ramin have profoundly shaped my career and my personal growth, imparting wisdom on both art and life during our moments together in Ibiza. 

They’ve taught me the importance of artistic expression that resonates with oneself while fostering meaningful relationships along the way.

Billy Kenny has been honing his craft for the best part of two decades. Releasing music on Green Velvet’s Relief Records, Claude Von Stroke’s Dirtybird Records and his own This Ain’t Bristol imprint amongst others, his ever-increasing reputation has taken him to clubs and festivals across the world. Looking ahead, Kenny will play multiple dates across South America and Canada before the end of the year.

Bursting onto the scene in 2009, Huxley has since become a British house music staple, delivering lauded tracks such as ‘Inkwell’, ‘I Want You’ and ‘I Don’t Know’. Of those, the most notable include “HotBoi Handgrenade” by Huxley and “Lift Me Up” by Worthy, with the label’s biggest release currently on the horizon: a Walker & Royce and VNSSA collab titled “Word” set to drop via HotBoi and Chris Lake’s Black Book Records this Friday, February 15th.

The HotBoi Nation Tour kicks off right in the heart of downtown Denver on March 30th at the Summit with Walker & Royce headlining the evening. Along the way, the tour will make stops in a number of major US cities including Seattle, Orlando, San Francisco, Brooklyn, and Washington, among others. Featured headliners on the HotBoi Nation tour, which officially comes to close with Mikey Lion in Chicago at the end of July, also includes major house players such as Josh Butler, Huxley, Oliver Dollar, Weiss, Super Flu, and Justin Jay.

In addition, the HotBoi team hosted a competition via the option4 Facebook page encouraging regional producers to submit mixes in order to earn a spot on the tour. Four winners in total were selected and given the opportunity to join option4 and friends for a memorable run of shows in the coming months.

Iconic East London venue 93 Feet East has confirmed plans to relaunch, with its next chapter coming to life on Saturday 27th January and a line-up announced through February.

With its home in the heart of Brick Lane, 93 Feet East first opened its doors at the turn of the millennium and they carved a unique reputation as an atmospheric bar, club and live music venue, having previously hosted independent showcases curated by promoters, multidisciplinary art festivals, film screenings, fashion shows, DJs and a number of incredible live acts grace the venue since its 1999 inception, with the likes of The White Stripes, Digitalism, Groove Armada and Radiohead all performing.

In terms of its club offering, the venue quickly became a rite of passage for any dance music fan with a great selection of respected brands hosting takeovers throughout the years. Enzo Siragusa’s infamous residency Fuse really cemented itself as one of the capital’s leading parties during its time at 93 Feet East, while the hugely popular Secretsundaze began its longstanding trajectory in the club’s loft room back in the early 2000’s.

The launch on 27th January will see Archie Hamilton, Patrice Scott, Santé and Sidney Charles play, and the February line-ups include a series of diverse acts such as Huxley, Hector, Steve Bug, Binh, Doc Martin, Ceri, Chad Andrew, David GTronic and Miguel Campbell spread across various events in the month.
