Blackflag kicks off the new year with this dynamic release, showcasing the infectious Latin-flavored energy of Xottelo and Martinz’s original tracks. With a string of impressive releases under their belts—Xottelo appearing on labels like elrow, Mindshake, and Snatch!, and Martinz on VIVa MUSiC, Circus Recordings, and SB Recordings—this duo’s debut on Blackflag is a standout moment.

Chris Di Perri, known for his slick and groovy productions, elevates ‘Chuchuca’ to new heights with his remix. Injecting a refined and rolling energy into the original, Di Perri’s take delivers an irresistible groove that’s primed for peak-time dancefloor moments.

The full EP also features another remix by Spain’s Oravla Ziur, who takes the track into deeper, darker territory with off-kilter sonics, tunneling grooves, and commanding vocal chants.

This was a huge step on Xotteloʼs career. Thanks to this, his music started to be on labels of the first category such as Stereo Productions (Chus+Ceballos). Sebastianʼs track was played at the closing of Space Miami. Where these two Iberic icons selected this song as the one perfect to close their extraordinary set.

Afterwards, Xottelo got signed to Ramon Tapia label for his ‘Look Out’ EP. Paco Osuna played the tracks at the beginning of his Awakenings set and Marco Carola in Music On at Cocorico. As a consequence of all his hard work, Sebastian gets to join one of the most representative labels of Germany: Great Stuff Recordings. 

His new ‘Back Three Back’ EP release on Tanama Records. The Colombian brings us two original powerful techno tracks which we premiere the lead track ‘Back Three Back’ for you today.
