Premiere: Versus – 1988

Share

Under No illusion kick of 2018 with one of the most in demand tracks out there at the moment, the Mighty “1988” by Manchester’s Versus.

We premiere the ‘Original’ version which has been causing major waves for the likes of Carl Cox & Gorgon City recently as well as our Remixer Lee Foss. The vibe is an ode back to the glory days of the inception of acid house with its lyrical cleverness and updated tech house twists. Big drum rolls and inverted analogue synth patterns fold out a peak time club track that will do major damage on this coming festive events and beyond.

Lee Foss then takes the original and turns it upside down and inside out to deliver a super classy and futuristic funk infused deep house gem. David & Luke turn out a real peak time tech house groover with “My Piano” and closing track “ILL PHIL” is a warped out analogue heavy techno track with Rasta vocals.
