Firing on all cylinders this year, NC-17 has released a foray of deep-rooted and often experimental flavours. He’s back on Rebel Music and this time has brought some friends along for the ride! The entire ‘Carte Blanche’ EP has been remixed by the likes of Myth, Creatures, Dr. Apollo and of course NC-17 himself.
Covering a range of shades of sound, each chosen remixer has exquisitely woven a new dimension to their chosen track. From the sub-heavy, foot skanking sounds of Myth’s take on NC-17 & OB1’s ‘Deep Blue’, the stunning stripped-back rework of ‘Jugular’ from Bristol-based Creatures, to the hard and heavy, teched-out remix of ‘Gates Of Hell’ by the main man himself. There’s something for everyone on this complete redux on the first-ever release on Rebel Music.
The output from NC-17 over the last couple of years has been nothing short of phenomenal and this EP is no different. The Rebel Music crew and NC-17 have absolutely smashed this remix EP to pieces. And if you haven’t heard it all yet we strongly advise you to rectify that immediately!
