Premiere: Random Soul – Take My Heart (Rich Pinder & DJOKO Remix)

Share

Starting off the year in style, Husky & Yogi aka Random Soul deliver their latest slice of luscious, feel-good house music.

‘Take My Heart’ is piano-driven house cut, packed full of positive piano licks and a cleverly treated vocal hook from Yogi, and some driving bass and chord stabs to boot. Boasting all the usual production aesthetics you’d expect from a Random Soul production, Take My Heart also tips its cap to the funkier, soulful roots of both Husky and Yogi. Do not underestimate this: there’s plenty of grunt under the hood that will sound suitably epic on a hefty soundsystem.

Remixing the record are UK artists Rich Pinder & DJOKO. With a steady output on labels like Simma Black, D-Vine Sounds, Street King and Amplified records, the lads know their way around the techier side of a groove, and this stomping remix is designed to get the 4am speakers rolling, complete with throbbing bass, twisted vocals, synth stabs and acid melodies and its that that features in our premiere series today.
