The One In The Woods reveal first wave for 2022

While people continue to talk about the outstanding The One In The Woods debut back in September, all eyes now turn to next year as the Liverpool juggernauts return with an even bigger line-up (read our review from 2021 here). For the weekend of 3rd and 4th June 2022, the all-encompassing festival will set up in Orrell Hill Woods, Liverpool with the first wave of names including DJ Hazard, Dillinja, A.M.C, Dax J, Calyx & Teebee, Drumsound & Bassline Smith b2b DJ SS b2b Kenny Ken, Randall, Loxy, Kings of the Rollers, Perc, Fatima Hajji, The Prototypes, Miss Trouble and The Ragga Twins…not to mention our friend and DTRadio show presenter MEL plus many more.

This community-minded and proudly inclusive festival will be set up in the escapist and lush green setting of Orrell Hill Woods with easy transport links from both Liverpool and Manchester. It’s a beautiful rural location with towering pine trees, secluded woodland areas and surrounded by the classical English countryside. The location has an enchanting feel that makes this a unique getaway curated by music lovers, for music lovers.

The One Promotions are a group of friends who have worked together for many years in both Liverpool and Manchester with a dream of bringing both cities together for one big party that melts the very best of Techno and Drum & Bass. With deep roots in either scene going back to the early noughties, the team has some serious know-how and so this year there will be three stages covering all aspects of Techno, Bass and Drum & Bass in proper style. 

In its spectacular debut year, The One In The Woods blew all expectations out of the water with three different stages all carefully curated, as well as a wealth of pop up merchants and delicious local food offerings including vegan options. The young, energetic crowd lapped up the whole experience and in 2022 it will be bigger and better, with more than 80 acts playing in all four different bar areas, a food area and a big array of pop ups as well as special after-parties and discounted hotel partners in Liverpool available.
