RSRRCT is an up and coming DJ and Producer. Born in Washington D.C., Amsterdam based artist, who discovered a love for electronic music early in his life

At the age of 17, he made the leap and purchased Ableton and got to work learning the craft. He is a regular on the rave circuit in Amsterdam. His first gigs were on this scene in empty warehouses, an abandoned office building, or the various hidden spots tucked away in the industrial sections of Amsterdam. RSRRCT continues to participate with these groups and considers it a vital and vibrant part of electronic music culture.

For this next release, he debuts on Ramon Tapia’s Say What? The label says “He delivered us 4 stunning tracks with a mixture of melodic and pounding grooves that will make his name known all over the scene”

Today, he joins the NUDE Techno podcast, with an hour of Techno. Listen to it below on SoundCloud & Mixcloud. If you are feeling this series, then please consider supporting it on Mixcloud Select.

Sum up this podcast in 10 words…
Spacey and driving mixture of techno from across the spectrum

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
Existence (Original Mix) – Victor Ruiz

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
When I play live I never decide my tracklists beforehand. I tend to base my set on the lineup around me and many other factors; however, with a studio a mix I can really sit down and plan a set out without any sort of restrictions.

What’s the best gig you’ve played recently?
Probably Half Moon Festival in Thailand. It was right before all the parties began shutting down due to the virus. Everyone knew it was the last party for a while so the energy was pretty crazy.

What have you got coming up?
So far another four releases coming up with some really great labels, and likely more to come

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
Just a thank you for listening to my set and that I hope they enjoy it!

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
