For their next release on Say What? welcome German techno giants Drumcomplex and Dr. Motte with their stellar collaboration called ‘Wedance’ including a huge remix by label boss – Ramon Tapia.

We start with the title track – We dance, an uplifting piece of dancefloor madness that keeps grinding throughout the track with an immense arpeggiated synth line and dark raw beat. The duo proves here that this is a team made in heaven.

Next up is the track called ‘Day’ which is more on the trippy side, but grabs your attention straight away and pushes you into the rabbit hole. The Amen break-like drums in the back give it that old-school vibe that will appeal to many and the raw drums accompany it like sugar on a cake.

‘Night’ is the third track on the release and keeps the same vibe as in the previous tracks but on a darker note. A big raving saw synth and Detroit-style drums are the main ingredients here while keeping it light and straightforward for the dancefloor.

To finish up the release Ramon Tapia drops his flavour on the title track ‘Wedance’. He keeps some original elements but tweaks them, making it into a rave monster that will burn speakers and floors all over the place.

We premiere ‘We Dance’ on NUDE Techno, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

For Say What? next instalment on the label they have another Japanese artist – Nobuharu Morimoto. From his home base in Tokyo, he delivers stomping, funky and fast-forwards tracks, that are made to go beyond the Japanese borders and that’s how he got on our radar

We start with our premiere ‘Shinonome’ – a piano-driven piece of magic, that could work for techno as well as house heads. His strong drums and the minimalistic use of the piano make it a masterpiece, that will carry you away above and beyond

‘Hyouryu’ is more experimental and hypnotic, yet still has Nobuharu’s signature drums with a beautiful sonic low end energy – great for those early mornings!

We finish the release off with ‘Tsugakuro’ – a vocal inspired track with weird elements, that grab you from the first go. Nobuharu shows his skills in keeping things simple yet elegant, with a sparkle of Detroit influenced synth works

They said “All in all we are more than happy to have him on board and welcome him into our ever-growing Say What? family”

Check out ‘Shinonome’ on our NUDE Techno channel today, and grab it on Beatport.

Say What? brings us a French producer – Portax, born and raised in the south of France, a heavy supporter of the deep and dark techno, he delivers an amazing three-track release for his debut on the label.

The title track ‘The Invisible Game’ sets the tone of the whole release with dark drums and synth snippets, bringing you to his Techno universe. Dark, yet driving and rumbling, the track keeps on building into something bigger. The stormy oscillating synth and the delicately added vocal will make many fall in awe.

‘My Darkness’ keeps the same energy, as the first track, with deep drums and a pulsating melodic lead, granting a heavy impact and ensuring, that you won’t leave your eargasm behind.

He closes the release down with ‘Singerei’, the bass-laden track filled with stabs and surgically placed synths, which will please ravers all over the planet and leaving us with no questions, that he flawlessly earned a spot in our label family.

We premiere ‘Singerei’ on NUDE Techno today, check it out here and grab it on Beatport

Next on Say What? Argentinian Techno producer – D.Mongelos, whose sound can be described as Dark and Groovy. He delivered 3 rockets, that got an instant ‘Yes’ from the label boss Ramon Tapia and these definitely will be instant burners in any set.

Diego Mongelos (a.k.a. d.mongelos). Argentine Dj and producer (Resident in the city of Formosa-Capital) with more than 20 years of career. As a producer, he has reached the TOP 100 of sales in Beatport several times. He has participated in numerous events, festivals and dates in important clubs in his country of origin as well as toured Europe.

Push is the main track of the release and starts with a rumbling kick that will blast through concrete. The Argentinian carefully uses a vocal with a screaming synth line which he turns into the recipe for a monster tune.

Reality keeps the energy of the main track but in a darker way, pulsating synths and dramatic breaks are the message and will get you into a state of bliss, techno at its finest.

Rain Drops finishes the release in a hypnotizing rhythm, the whole track is laden with hard-hitting and ear whipping sounds that will make you want more and more every time you hear it.

We premiere ‘Push’ on NUDE Techno today, check out here and grab it on Beatport!

The original was first released in 1995 on the famous Belgian techno imprint Music Man and after Ramon did an edit of the classic for himself to play, he didn’t expect the remix to start living its own life.

With insane support by major artists in the scene and high demand – the best possible option was to contact the Music Man label owner directly and ask if we could release it on Say What?

The label says “So here we are now, ready for The Andor Voyage!”

We premiere the track on our NUDE Techno channel today, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

The next release on the Say What? label, the ‘Subsoil’ EP is from a long time friend of the label owner Ramon Tapia. Hailing from the southern city of Naples (IT) and being in the Techno game for 20 years – Markantonio.

A long-time staple of Neapolitan techno and the European dance scene in general. Markantonio has excelled as a first-class DJ, producer and record label owner. Through his own work and that of labels Analytic Trail and MKT. First getting behind the decks at just fifteen years old, a passion for both the technical side of DJing and for finding the freshest records around made it clear that music would be the career for young Markantonio. Within four years, he was making a name for himself in the late 90s clubs of Naples. He emerged as one of the region’s most exciting electronic music prospects.

With his exquisite music taste and observation of the changes in the techno scene, his performances convey rare energy made of a soft fusion of shrill grooves and bass lines, along with his mastered use of three decks together with the talent for a strong alteration of the sound in the rhythmic combinations which is reflected in Markantonio music production as well.

For his debut with his ‘Subsoil’ EP he delivers 3 bangers that will leave you speechless and shows that the man delivers nothing, but quality. We premiere ‘Subsoil’ for you today, check it out below and grab the EP here.

RSRRCT is an up and coming DJ and Producer. Born in Washington D.C., Amsterdam based artist, who discovered a love for electronic music early in his life

At the age of 17, he made the leap and purchased Ableton and got to work learning the craft. He is a regular on the rave circuit in Amsterdam. His first gigs were on this scene in empty warehouses, an abandoned office building, or the various hidden spots tucked away in the industrial sections of Amsterdam. RSRRCT continues to participate with these groups and considers it a vital and vibrant part of electronic music culture.

For this next release, he debuts on Ramon Tapia’s Say What? The label says “He delivered us 4 stunning tracks with a mixture of melodic and pounding grooves that will make his name known all over the scene”

Today, he joins the NUDE Techno podcast, with an hour of Techno. Listen to it below on SoundCloud & Mixcloud. If you are feeling this series, then please consider supporting it on Mixcloud Select.

Sum up this podcast in 10 words…
Spacey and driving mixture of techno from across the spectrum

What’s your personal favourite track on it?
Existence (Original Mix) – Victor Ruiz

What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
When I play live I never decide my tracklists beforehand. I tend to base my set on the lineup around me and many other factors; however, with a studio a mix I can really sit down and plan a set out without any sort of restrictions.

What’s the best gig you’ve played recently?
Probably Half Moon Festival in Thailand. It was right before all the parties began shutting down due to the virus. Everyone knew it was the last party for a while so the energy was pretty crazy.

What have you got coming up?
So far another four releases coming up with some really great labels, and likely more to come

And finally, do you have a special message for our readers?
Just a thank you for listening to my set and that I hope they enjoy it!
