For the new release on Say What? they welcome Josh Fabian aka TimeKube.

The young DJ/Producer is an up and coming talent based in California with his energetic, melodic and boomy sound, that reflects his love for old-school rave synths and drum machine patterns from the 90s and 00s and strives to push the sound of the past into the future through experimentation and exploration.

We start with ‘Electric Sky’, which is straightforward, “no-nonsense” piece of techno ammunition that will make many clubs and festivals tremble. The synths, soft yet nasty, make this the perfect track for peak-time moments!

‘Insomnia’ is in the same vibe as the previous tune, straightforward and hypnotic. Rumbling beats and bass are the main ingredients here that showcase Timekube’s ability to create dancefloor monsters.

‘Mammoth’ has a groovy techno vibe and reminds us of early jacking days, rolling beats and vocal snippets keep this track interesting from start to finish, meanwhile maintaining an incredible dancefloor feel. Definitely a feel-good track for many music lovers around the globe.

We finish off the release with Nebula, probably the deepest track on the EP but for sure one not to miss. The groove feels like never-ending and gives the vocal the perfect push into a synergy of awesomeness. A great debut on the label from this fresh new talent!

We premiere ‘Insomnia’ on NUDE Techno, check it out here and grab the whole EP on Beatport.

For Say What? next instalment on the label they have another Japanese artist – Nobuharu Morimoto. From his home base in Tokyo, he delivers stomping, funky and fast-forwards tracks, that are made to go beyond the Japanese borders and that’s how he got on our radar

We start with our premiere ‘Shinonome’ – a piano-driven piece of magic, that could work for techno as well as house heads. His strong drums and the minimalistic use of the piano make it a masterpiece, that will carry you away above and beyond

‘Hyouryu’ is more experimental and hypnotic, yet still has Nobuharu’s signature drums with a beautiful sonic low end energy – great for those early mornings!

We finish the release off with ‘Tsugakuro’ – a vocal inspired track with weird elements, that grab you from the first go. Nobuharu shows his skills in keeping things simple yet elegant, with a sparkle of Detroit influenced synth works

They said “All in all we are more than happy to have him on board and welcome him into our ever-growing Say What? family”

Check out ‘Shinonome’ on our NUDE Techno channel today, and grab it on Beatport.

For the new release on Say What? they welcome Jo Poole with her ‘Final Calling’ EP

Jo is a young DJ/Producer originally from near Bristol but now based in Manchester. She kicked off 2021 with a guest mix for Alan Fitzpatrick’s label We Are The Brave, had her first release on Mario Ochoa’s Avenue Recordings and now she landed an EP with Say What? in the form of 4 dancefloor bombs.

At the end of 2019, after a Summer in Ibiza to focus on music production, she moved North to teach at Make Me A DJ and manages Rudosa’s hard techno label, Moments In Time.

Our premiere ‘Final Calling’ is a warm and timeless piece of Techno, that directly shows Jo is here to stay. Rumbling drums and synths, pulsing like an alarm, are the main elements, that will take you Into a hypnotic realm.

‘I Want To Feel’ is the second stomper on the release and serves as a perfect rolling tool, that can fit many sets. Stomping, groovy, yet still tough, with a vocal snippet keeping you going for hours and hours.

‘Nyctophobia’ is yet another track, that shows Jo is a new force on the scene to be reckoned with. Slamming drums, mesmerising groove for late afterhours and her signature vocal snippets finish the track off, making this another winner on the release.

‘Otsana’ is the last track on this already impressive release and yet again she shows her from her best side. Raw synths and a relentless drive make this a perfect tool, that will be loved by many.

Roel Salemink teamed up with Dutch Techno / Trance veteran Marco V for a very special package on Say What? titled ‘Rollercoaster’.

The 2 Dutchmen don’t need much more introduction other than saying they are both a household stable in the Techno and Trance scene. The pack contains two well-known classics from Marco V ‘Echoes’ & ‘Recovered’ both remixed by Roel and one original of them together called ‘Rollercoaster’

Born in the Dutch lowlands of Heeswijk-Dinther, Marco Verkuijlen has established himself as one of the most inventive, diverse and creative electronic music minds working today. Through his very first releases, he became the architect of tech-trance; a sound that went on to become a fully-fledged electronic music phenomenon.

When you grow up in a small place like Gendringen/The Netherlands, there ís not much that will keep you busy unless you can find yourself an all-consuming hobby pretty fast. Roel Salemink chose to combat small town syndrome by developing his passion for music, spending his formative years obsessing over different styles of music

‘Rollercoaster’ – this will get you on one for sure, clean acid stabs with a stripped-down arrangement are the key elements here and will be a sure shot for the upcoming festivals worldwide Recovered (Roel Salemink Remix) is a dirty warehouse monster. Roel uses the original synth with class and makes floors tremble with the heavy drums and people scream for more Echoes (Roel Salemink Remix) is the second remix, that he delivers on this release, with the same power of the first one and nothing less than a vision to create another dancefloor may-hem

The label says “We are more than happy to welcome these 2 gentlemen on the label!”

We premiere ‘Rollercoaster’ on NUDE Techno, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

For Say What? 127, they welcome Antonio D’Africa and Sall, for a three track EP titled ‘Riptide’.

The two Italians, who have delivered many great pieces of Techno on labels like Riot, IAMT and Prospect Records to name a few. Their collaboration comes with a distinctive sound that is loved by many and we are more than happy to have them on board with these 3 power tracks.

Antonio D’Africa & Sall are two Italian Djs and music producers. Born in Southern Italy, they share a great passion for electronic music. After their studies, they decided together to move to Milan, a city that gave them the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Italian techno scene.

In 2012 and 2013, Antonio and Sall respectively start to attend the SAE Milano, where they obtain EMP certification ( Electronic Music Production). In the following years, they keep independently deepen their sound design, thanks to the constant research and to the participation in various sound engineering courses. The experience acquired during these years in Milan has been decisive to undertake a musical journey together that in 2015 led them to develop the first production as a duo.

Starting with ‘Riptide’, the main track, directly shows, what the Italian duo is capable of. Scorching synth lines and raw bass are the main ingredients, but meanwhile keeping depth and soul in the track. ‘Flowing Light’, a bit deeper, than the rest, but equally strong, just what it needs to sum up and show the Italians are in top form.

Our pick and premiere on NUDE Techno is ‘Concept Recall’, It’s a killer track and keeps the vibe rolling from start to finish, sugared with a melodic break, that brings you to another state of mind.

Check out here and grab it on Beatport.
