CAMZ joins the Spotlight Mix Series

Share

Brazilian-born, London-based DJ, producer, radio show host and event founder Camila Soares, AKA CAMZ, is championing Brazilian sound and culture within London and the UK. Whether it be through her monthly ‘Sunshine Beatz’ show on Point Blank Radio or her É Samba event series that has welcomed traditional carnival dancers and a live samba fusion band (Samba Sisters), CAMZ aims to bring sunshine to the hearts of Londoners and beyond.

In August of this year, CAMZ unveiled her debut release on the iconic Nervous Records, delivering the Brazilian-infused Saudade and immediately gaining support on BBC Radio 1 from Jaguar and Jeremiah Asiamah

Further evidence of her rising status; next month CAMZ is set to perform at Nicole Moudaber Presents In The Mood at London’s E1, alongside Nicole Moudaber herself, Ida Engberg and more.

She joins the Spotlight mix today, check it out below and grab it here.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
