Abbud (CUFF) combines with Lucas Bahr (Sola), for their next release ‘Pptão’ coming on Nervous on 9th December.
Young producer from Rio de Janeiro, Gustavo Abbud aka “ABBUD”, Irreverent, owner of a unique sound line, sought outside his references, Chicago House, Hip Hop, Trap and Funky today no less influenced by Brazilian culture also adapts sagaciously to what the underground music market allows, are the traits well marked in the musical ideology of the producer.
Abbud has been leaving his signatures on major labels in the Brazilian and International scene, his biggest references that are from the European scene made him create strong characteristics in his musical style, today Abbud has been signing his authorship on major labels like: CUFF, G-SPOT, NERVOUS, LA PERA, COCOA among others.
His tracks have been getting more and more attention, and not surprisingly, he has called the attention of big names like The Martinez Brothers, Michael Bibi, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Solardo, Cloonee, Will Taylor, Amine Edge and Dance, Manda Mor, Latmun, Eddy M, Guille Placencia, George Privatti, Classmatic, Gabe, and Brisotti, among other big names in the scene, who have been supporting his tracks.
He says about the release “We made PPTAO a long time ago, it was one of our first collabs, and it worked out very well. It was right after our release on CUFF, the dancefloors nowadays ask for this mix between funk and tech house and we made an experiment that was exactly adding our aesthetics to the original song, many people ask us for this song, and we are very happy to be able to sign it in a label as historical as Nervous, surely this vinyl record will live in my studio.”
