Share

Australian producer Willaris. K is back with ‘Drama On The Edge’, a gripping hybrid electronic track lifted from his highly anticipated debut album, ‘Everything Is As It Should Be’, out Friday, November 1st.

Known for his moody, immersive soundscapes, Willaris. K delivers an emotional journey in ‘Drama On The Edge’, a track that speaks to the complexity and rawness of his creative process.

The track, which took a long and winding path to completion, ultimately came together in a surprising way. Willaris. K, an artist who thrives on collaboration, found himself in a creative loop until a friend from back home, HXXD GXLD, sent him a version featuring his own vocals.

“I listened to it three days later when I was driving. He’d rapped over version two, and it was incredible. And I was like, ‘Boom, this is it’. So, I scrapped everything I had, went back to version two, and remade it.”

With HXXD GXLD’s vocals breathing new life into the track, ‘Drama On The Edge’ captures a raw emotional depth, making it a standout addition to his repertoire.

The track arrives hot on the heels of several recent releases, including ‘Guard’, ‘I Miss You Now’, and a powerful collaboration with The Presets on ‘World Collapsing’, which sparked a euphoric remix from jamesjamesjames. Willaris. K also dropped ‘Say’ with Memphis LK, with his recent shows selling out Naarm’s Abbotsford Convent in just 48 hours.

With ‘Everything Is As It Should Be’, Willaris. K marks a new phase in his career, staying true to the emotive, complex sound that’s brought him acclaim while pushing the boundaries of his creativity. ‘Drama On The Edge’ is a taste of the layered, emotionally charged journey to come—get ready for an album that captures the artist’s growth and unwavering authenticity.
