Luca returns to SBK Recordings with ‘Brackish Days/Spend Time’

New Zealand national now based in London, Luca returns to SBK Recordings for a fresh taste of his trademark deep liquid flavours with 2 new tracks entitled ‘Brackish Days’ and ‘Spend Time’. This will be Luca’s first solo release for the label, since he featured in their opening release (as one half of Vanadis) on ‘Enter The Blue’ (2007), and since then with ‘Canal City’ which came in 2020 and ‘Ultralite’ earlier on this year.

‘Brackish Days’ is a nostalgic number that drifts along like a gentle coastal breeze, as we watch the different shades of blue and green fade and morph through water. If you allow yourself to be immersed in the sonics you will see and feel all the tones beneath.

‘Spend Time’ is a light and delicate composition that harks back to the simple days of childhood. A pencil-drawn sketch. An afternoon playing outside. Those still crisp moments before nightfall, or perhaps the first rays of light on a weekend morning. 

These tracks serve as a sympathetic reminder for us all to make time for those that matter the most.
