Boundary Brighton Brings New Music Festival to the South Coast

We love a good festival at Data Transmission with the key ingredients for us, amazing location, variety in the line-up – the more genres the better, as this usually leads to the discovery of new music & people.  So this morning we are excited by the announcement of Boundary Brighton.  A festival with four stages of music, a vintage fair, delicious local food and other unexpected treats, all nestled between the crest of the Downs and the City with the sea below.

Taking over Stanmer Park on Saturday 17th September and promising a line-up that brings together house, dub, bashment, techno, drum and bass, breaks, electronica and even a little crazy jazz with each stage offering different styles, always reflective of the best of its genre.  They have joined forces with the city’s leading music institutions who are each to host a stage.  If you enjoy the sounds of Barcelona and Ibiza mixed with a large dose of insanity, outrageous performers, confetti filled air and crowd surfing chickens (We wonder who is hosting this….) – you’ll love the fiesta taking place at The Arch stage.  Patterns, better known for it’s intimate dancefloor and impeccable sound system, are providing an underground, edge with deeper, leftfield sounds.  Big sounds & the Big Stage will be delivered by Concorde 2 stage and last but not least, their Victorian bandstand – perched on a hilltop overlooking the rest of the festival will bring a really different flavour, with a fun line up that will keep you smiling and dancing all day.
