Share

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has revealed its second wave of ADE Pro speakers, and there’s plenty to be excited about. Highlights include EMPIRE president Tina Davis, Romain Vivien, Global Head of Music at Believe, Grimes’ manager Daouda Leonard, and top strategists from Spotify and SoundCloud. Plus, artists like Miss Monique, Chris Stussy, and Sama’ Abdulhadi are joining the already impressive lineup, which includes names like Timbaland & Martin Garrix, Laurent Garnier, fabric London, Grace Ladoja, and big players from Armada Music, WME, UTA, and more.

Tina Davis, the president of EMPIRE, will be leading a Keynote Q&A, discussing her influential role in shaping the global reach of the independent label, especially in Afrobeats and Latin music. Grimes’ manager and CreateSafe co-founder, Daouda Leonard, will dive into the fusion of music, AI, and technology, sharing insights on the future of artist management and how artists can gain more control over their careers and businesses. Phiona Okumu, Spotify’s Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa, will discuss her work in elevating African artists and Spotify’s efforts, like RADAR and EQUAL, to support emerging and female talent on a global scale.

Essential Insider Knowledge

Following the massive success of last year’s Insider Knowledge series, the first entries for 2024 are already here. Romain Vivien of Believe and Andreea Gleeson, CEO of TuneCore, will bring their expertise to help independent artists navigate the evolving music landscape with digital solutions and distribution models. Their ‘Insider Knowledge’ keynote will offer crucial advice on how artists can thrive in today’s industry. Plus, SoundCloud is presenting an in-depth session on the best opportunities and strategies for independent artists, led by one of the platform’s top strategic minds.

Pioneers in Electronic Music

Miss Monique, whose YouTube channel reaches millions, will host a masterclass on how she crafts her videos and built her YouTube success. Dutch artist Chris Stussy, one of the top four most-touring Dutch artists internationally, will share his experiences balancing underground and mainstream success, staying healthy during tours, and helping emerging talent. Rising global techno star Sama’ Abdulhadi will discuss her unique sound, her journey to major festivals like Coachella and Glastonbury, and how she continues to inspire dance floors worldwide.
