Eats Everything welcomes Bastian Bux & Baum to his influential imprint to mark its fantastic 50th release.

Spaniards Bastian Bux & Baum have been appearing everywhere from London to Las Vegas, Ibiza to Amsterdam for many years. They are versatile producers who between them have landed on key labels such as Cocoon, Repopulate Mars, elrow and many more, always with a floor-friendly take on house music that is packed with character as well as potency. For this landmark release on Edible, they drop a fresh two-track EP of the utmost quality.

First out of the bag is the stylish ‘About Us’ which immediately feels big. A looped intro works its magic building the anticipation before a big drop and rolling groove will set the dance floor free. This tune has already been massive for Eats Everything and has been road-testing it to great receptions everywhere. The pair then showcase a different house sound on the superb ‘Mad’, which has high impact and jackin house flavours reminiscent of the great boompty king Derrick Carter. Squelchy synths, groovy bass and punchy kicks all make it a truly classy club weapon.

This is a suitably standout new EP to mark this significant milestone for one of contemporary electronic music’s most influential labels.
