Brand new music from Flight Facilities!

Share

Australian electro-pop duo, Flight Facilities aka Jimmy Lyell and Hugo Gruzman, have returned with their first new song in three years.

‘Arty Boy’ features their long time collaborator Emma Louise on vocals and is the first new material since the duo’s latest album Down To Earth, and their live album with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. The song’s music video was directed by German collective Jünglinge, and is a kind of mini-documentary about an Irani-German couple who are old friends of Arnold Schwarzenegger and happen to run a bodybuilding bath house.  They have said recently “They’re currently sitting on around 60 new songs as they work towards their next major project”

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
