Share

Continuing to champion the future stars in dance music, Sonny Fodera welcomes firm ones to watch for 2021 for the third instalment of his Solotoko label compilation, ‘Solotoko Drops Vol. 03’.

This year’s compilation follows last year’s success of highlighting rising talent on ‘Solotoko Drops Vol. 02’, featuring tracks from Vanilla Ace, Friendless, Roxe, Cashino, Bohemien and more.

For this year’s release, ‘Solotoko Drops Vol. 03’ draws on up and coming talent from all corners of the globe including Julian Kid, Josh Davids & Sammy Sax, Jonah Vii, Philip Z, Archie B, alltalk, MUUS and Frents & Charles B.

Dropping right on time before anticipated club reopening’s in June, ‘Solotoko Drops Vol. 03’ explores a diverse sonic landscape with tracks primed for the dancefloor and boasting crossover appeal.

From progressive flavours and euphoric vocals (Julian Kid, Jonah Vii, Philip Z) to classic tech-house grooves and samples (Josh Davids & Sammy Sax, Archie B, alltalk, MUUS) as well as showcasing the label’s versatility with piano riffs that blend pop and house realms (Frents & Charles B), Solotoko Drops Vol. 03 triumphs in showcasing a broad range of talent across the spectrum.

We premiere Julian Kid’s ‘Wanna Be’ on Data Transmission today, check it out here and grab it here.
