LWE launches Sphere at Magazine, London

Share

LWE has launched a new series of shows coming to Magazine London in 2020. Exploring a variety of house & techno and everything that falls within those circles, Sphere represents the meeting point for divergent sounds and people from all meanders of life.

For the launch on Saturday 15th February, LWE has invited a cross-section of musical styles as Hot Since 82, Eats Everything and very special guest Maya Jane Coles bring their pioneering sounds to London’s recent addition Magazine. Further, La Fleur is an artist LWE have been working closely with over the last few years, and will be joined by Effy who’s hotly tipped for great things in 2020.

LWE will be bringing in a new production and lighting concept, transforming the blank canvas space into something like nowhere else in the city. Expect different depths to the dancefloor and a myriad of production techniques to create a glowing iridescence amongst the black walls.

With a big focus on sound quality, expect clarity, warmth and loudness.  The venue will be fitted with a bespoke L’Acoustics Soundsystem, with LWE’s long term partners BCS Audio. The same winning combination that has won accolades at Junction 2 Festival.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
