10 Years Playlist: 2010

February 2008… While sat in the smokey, sweaty, dingy and very pink epicentre of quite frankly, one of the greatest clubs to every grace this earth, Turnmills – Data Transmission was born!

With just over a month left of the clubs final year, we launched this new magazine site, as we lead up to the 10th Birthday February 2018, we thought we start a run of content to celebrate it and look back at some of the music we have talked about in the last 10 years and some of the artists, we’ve supported.

2010 was a big year for music including tracks from DJ Fresh, Magnectic Man, Katy B, Sidney Samson, Sub Focus, Dennis Ferrer and many more, we’ve updated the playlist to include 2010.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
