Field Trip Festival, returning for its second year across the August Bank Holiday weekend 26-29 August, is hotly anticipated to be the best up and coming electronic dance music festival in the South West. Spanning the spectrums of House, Techno, Drum ‘n’ Bass and Breaks, Field Trip brings an eclectic mix of dance music genres to Grange Farm, West Ashton, Wiltshire.
Building on last year’s success, event organisers Jack Clink (34) and Ryan Allcott (41) have been working tirelessly behind the scenes planning the three day event. ‘For us, it’s about people coming together to have a good time but without the inflated prices you see at so many music festivals these days,’ says Jack Clink.
“We are really overwhelmed with the speed of ticket sales this year and all the great feedback from last year’s event – we can’t wait to show people what’s in store at Field Trip 2016,” adds Ryan.
Field Trip is honored to welcome drum and bass legend Roni Size for a headlining set. He is joined by Dynamite MC for his set in the ‘Hidden Garden’ on Sunday night. Other acts include Randall, Logistics and DJ S.P.Y, joined by the vocal talents of MC Lowqui, Carasel and IC3.
Stanton Warriors are set to headline the Outdoor Stage on Saturday night. The acclaimed international superstars with West Country roots are taking a break from performing at Miami boat parties, Detroit raves and the stages of Coachella to land on their home turf. Punters can expect to be blown away by their original spin on high profile remixes and undeniable bass banging Stanton sound.
Add to this Apex Stage headliner, Alan Fitzpatrick, Jonas Rathsman, Woz, JFB, Ed Solo, Dr Meaker, Ayah Marar and Gypsy Unit, Flava D, Will White, DC Breaks and Shadow Child.
