MEO Sudoeste 2013

The 17th edition of the MEO Sudoeste festival will take place from the 7th- 11th August in Zambujeira do Mar, the coastal resort in the South Western Portuguese region of Alentejo. The line-up so far is astounding with the likes of Snoop Lion, Fatboy Slim, Cee Lo Green, Solange, Calvin Harris, Janelle Monae, Richie Campbell, SOJA, Pitbull, Expensive Soul, Donavon Frankenreiter, Orelha Negra, DJ Ride, Avicii, Capleton and with more acts soon to be announced this is one not to be missed!

MEO Sudoeste is the largest Portuguese music festival, best known by its vibrant atmosphere and eclectic line-up; a mix of urban, electronic, pop, rock, indie, reggae and even Portuguese fado! MEO Sudoeste guarantees something for everyone. Its also just 50km north of the popular Algarve, MEO Sudoeste takes place just outside Zambujeira do Mar, a small fishing village in the unspoilt coastal region of Alentejo, an area well known by beach and surf enthusiasts. The festival site and camping are located in a natural reserve forest by a fresh-water canal, just 10 minutes away from some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and the best surf in Europe.
