LNADJ To Host Thought Provoking Panel At Amsterdam Dance Event

Share

The electronic music charity Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ) is preparing to host a panel and organise a charity run during this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

ADE is scheduled to run from 18th to 22nd October. LNADJ will be conducting two panel sessions, one on Wednesday 18th October, and another on Thursday 19th October. The panel, named ‘Creating Space,’ will focus on LNADJ’s Get Equipped initiative, demonstrating how the power of music can uplift underprivileged youth worldwide.

The discussion aims to enlighten the audience about how Get Equipped aids young people across the globe in recovering from trauma, fostering positive mental health, boosting self-esteem, self-discovery, stress relief, and emotional release.

At ADE, LNADJ is collaborating with Ravers2Runners to organize a charitable 5k run. This event seeks to promote and support the mental and physical well-being of ADE attendees. Scheduled for Thursday 19th October at 8:30 am at the iconic Gashouder in Westerpark, the run promises to foster a sense of community among participants who run with the shared purpose of making a difference in people’s lives.

Ravers2Runners is a group of running enthusiasts who share a passion for music and partying. Like LNADJ, they mobilize the dance music community to channel their boundless energy for a greater cause.

All funds raised will be directed towards Get Equipped, with the aim of providing DJ, production, and music equipment to educational and community organizations that support children and young adults in the UK and beyond. Currently, efforts are underway to fund the construction of a new music studio in Sierra Leone, Africa, through WAYout Arts.

During their most recent trip in April, a team of seven world-class DJs, producers, and artists visited Sierra Leone. They shared their skills and inspired creativity among local musicians by using donated equipment, contributing to the growth and development of young talent through the transformative power of music and art.

Jonny Lee, the Founder of LNADJ, expressed his enthusiasm for ADE involvement, stating;

“We’re so excited to be heavily involved with Amsterdam Dance Event. A huge international event with people all over the music industry world attending, this is a fantastic opportunity to share our story and get more people involved with inspiring and changing the lives of children through music. It is a great sign of where we are that Ravers2Runners would like to collaborate with us on a run that will raise vital funds to help build a new music studio in Sierra Leone. We urge everyone attending, of all running abilities, to spare the time to join us. Whether it’s to clear your head or start the day right, a run will set you up for a fantastic day at the event.”
