Loot Recordings celebrates their 10th anniversary

Share

Loot Recordings invites listeners back to the future through a decade of its music. To celebrate their 10-year anniversary, they present “Loot Recordings: 10, Pt. 1”, a remix concept featuring label artists revisiting and remixing their own tracks. The result is a fresh perspective on some of their most celebrated releases.

Founded in 2014, Loot Recordings’ vision has always been to support new and emerging artists with a distinct sound while also collaborating with more established names. Part One of their anniversary compilation is set for release on June 7, 2024, with Part Two following later in July.

Among the standout tracks on this anniversary compilation is “Music” by Alec Chizhik & Markus Mehta, featuring Roberto Q. Ingram. This track gets a dynamic new twist with Markus Mehta’s “Gimme The Loot Remix,” which breathes fresh energy into the original. Alec Chizhik and Markus Mehta, known for their innovative and genre-defying sounds, bring their signature style to the forefront, while Roberto Q. Ingram’s contribution adds a distinct vocal element that elevates the track. The remix encapsulates the essence of Loot Recordings: a fusion of creativity and collaboration that pushes the boundaries of electronic music.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
