As we edge closer to spring, you can practically feel the buzz building up behind the scenes as plans for summer festivals start taking shape. And, you guessed it, MELT Festival is right in the mix, doing what it does best: curating a lineup that’s as diverse as it is electric. From techno beats to rap rhymes, indie vibes to hyper-pop tunes, and soulful sounds to neo-soul grooves, MELT 2024 is gearing up to deliver an experience like no other.
Get ready because MELT 2024 is about to kick it up a notch with some seriously hot acts. Sampha, the music sensation of the moment, is set to drop his latest album, ‘Lahia’, blending pop with soul, electronic beats, jazz, and then some. Remember Jayda G from 2022? Well, she’s back to spread those summer feels once again with her infectious mix of house and disco. And that’s not all—Sega Bodega and Vegyn [live] are making a comeback too, ready to unveil their latest tunes for the first time in Germany.
“After the excellent feedback on our previous releases, it was very important to us to deliver a proper follow-up: With the confirmations of Sampha, Jayda G, Sega Bodega, Eris Drew and many more, we have succeeded. MELT has an outstanding position in the German festival landscape, no other festival represents the zeitgeist between off-pop and electronic music in such a way. We are therefore delighted to be continuing in this direction and can hardly wait to be back in Ferropolis in July.”

And for all you techno heads out there, MELT have got you covered with some fresh beats from Soft Crash, Schwefelgelb [live], Funk Assault, SITA, MARRØN, and more. Plus, brace yourselves for an electronic extravaganza featuring Eris Drew, DJ Spit, Sedef Adasi, Lola Haro, and a bunch of other gems on the other stages.
But wait, there’s more! Jasper Tygner, Kaeto, Ultraflex, No Guidnce, John Glacier, Nusantara Beat, Geo22, and AMANDUS 99 & DANZINGER 99 are here to round off the lineup with indie rock anthems, hyper-pop bops, R’n’B vibes, psychedelic sounds, hip-hop jams, and everything in between.
Oh, and one tiny bummer—Yaeji won’t be able to make it to MELT this year due to some personal stuff. But hey, the show must go on, and trust us, it’s gonna be one heck of a ride!
MELT Festival stands tall as one of Germany’s most iconic music gatherings. For over 25 years, it’s been drawing crowds by the thousands to the historic Ferropolis open-cast mine in Gräfenhainichen, delivering an experience that’s truly one-of-a-kind. With over 150 cutting-edge artists spanning rap, indie, techno, house, pop, and beyond, MELT never fails to leave its mark on festival-goers. Recent editions have seen the likes of Fred Again.., Little Simz, Moderat, Róisín Murphy, Brutalismus 3000, Bicep (live), Jamie xx, and a whole bunch more lighting up the stages.
“At MELT 2024, we will once again showcase the diversity of the musical and cultural zeitgeist: Featuring many artists from different genres, styles and cultural backgrounds, all playing in a gathering of curious and like-minded people.
Nonetheless, electronic music is at the heart of the festival. German hype acts like Marlon Hoffstadt & Malugi, DJ Heartstring, who will all curate a whole stage with their event series for a day, and international ones like ANOTR and X Club., or legends like Honey Dijon, DJ Koze, Bonobo with his DJ- and KI/KI with her live-set, are only a few of many that will showcase their art in unique, fitting and picture-perfect settings. Additional world premieres like Marcel Dettmann b2b VTSS and DJ Mell G b2b Helena Hauff, besides many more exciting things yet to be announced, prove: MELT is the unrivalled home for forward-thinking electronic music in Germany!”
