Premiere: Clandestino – Quiet Storm (Pete Herbert Remix)

Share

For their third release Clandestino present two original cuts on their label by the same name.

Shades of dreamy house complement a modern production aimed at discerning dance-floors. ‘Another Horizon’ channels a heady late-eighties vibe; ascending sunrise chords and gentle keys as well as giving way to a burbling 303 line.

‘Quiet Storm’ quickens the tempo; a stripped down bass groove and a teasing Juno arp gives way to a devastating piano hook.  The reliable Pete Herbert steps up for our debut transmission today and turns in a shimmering house rework of ‘Quiet Storm’.
