Here we are, almost at the end of 2018! Where the fuck did the year go?! We’ve had countless flights to far off lands, stomped at festivals til our toenails dropped off, numerous clubs we’ve lost ourselves in, day parties, night parties, house parties, weekend long parties, after parties, after after parties and everything in between! Don’t know about you but I’m ready for a break! What’s that…end of the year, Christmas and New Years parties still to come? Someone pass me a REVIBE!

Right, let’s stop procrastinating and get on with our round-up of all the best parties and festivals for you to check out before the end of the year and the January blues set in!


HOSPITALITY LONDON: Christmas Special

After another massive year for the drum and bass outfit, they have a few more tricks up their sleeves to see out 2018! Although this event is sold out you may still be able to grab re-sale tickets via TicketSwap. If you go another route be extra vigilant as neither us Hospitality or Studio 338 can take responsibility if you buy fake tickets, you will, unfortunately, be turned away at the door.

The queen of the DJ booth and BBC Radio 1 Annie Mac headlines the party & it’ll be the perfect end to a fantastic run of shows in the UK & Dubai for Taste The Punch…

TTP re-introduce the ‘3Sixty’ Punchbowl where the crowd surround the DJ, this is available with a VIP Ticket and you’ll find 8O8 Drink host the VIP Bar, bringing along their famous 808 inspired Whisky! It’s #WhiskyRemixed

For our final party of the year, we have teamed up with our friends at Driven to celebrate our 10 years in the business and their ongoing success!

Driven have welcomed some of the biggest House and Techno stars to our city in 2018 including Mele, Tommy Vercetti, Nick Curly, Tuff London and Seb Zito. We have been working hard to build a strong resident team in Adam T, Ian Redman, Jobi, Michael G, Phaze and Ross Stone and have strived to put MK back on the map for parties.

Our 10th Birthday series started back in February in London with Tough Love & Blonde. We visited Brighton with Jaguar Skills, Ibiza with a special boat party featuring Jamie Roy and their ever able resident Wax Worx, Guildford with Low Steppa & Rich Wakley, NYC with Mat.Joe and most recently their ADE special featuring the likes of George Smeddles, Vangelis Kostoxenakis, Brett Gould, Maxine Garman and more.

We are buzzing for the final party of the year on Boxing Day, and we’ve decided to bring a line-up that shines a light on our city’s local talent and by bringing Driven residents to the forefront for a local knees up, it’s gonna be a vibe!


RAM

There is no denying the legendary RAM Xmas parties hold a special place in the label’s history. Arguably compiling some of the most outrageous club show lineups ever to hit the Capital, the annual festive get-togethers held at The End, Matter and fabric were simply unmissable for any London D&B fan!

Following their fantastic all-day takeovers at Arcadia and Eastern Electrics this year, they’re taking it back to the club and reigniting the Xmas party! On the lineup this year are Camo & Krooked, Calyx & TeeBee B2B Circuits, Culture Shock, Mob Tactics, Harriet Jaxxon, Legion and loads more!


JUNCTION 2 LAUNCH PARTY

Tobacco Dock, London

As Junction 2 Festival approaches its fourth year, we’re heading to Tobacco Dock for a glimpse of what’s to come to Boston Manor Park in 2019. Sitting within their ethos of quality electronic music, the event will be an exploration of the future sounds of Junction 2.

Focused around a nucleus of techno and house, they’ve called on a selection of established tastemakers, rulebreakers and those on a meteoric rise to the top.

This year there will be no LWE NYD at Tobacco Dock and this will be the last event until 2019. Expect forward-thinking production, amazing sound and an obsessive attention to detail.

 


HYTE

Funkhaus Berlin

After a globe-trotting year of events, HYTE returns to Funkhaus Berlin on New Year’s Eve 2018 for a 24-hour marathon with another carefully curated line-up of established high-profile headliners and some of the unquestioned most interesting talents of the underground scene.

Funkhaus is a colossal and iconic East German complex dating back to 1951 that used to be the largest radio-broadcasting site in the world, and today is a treasure trove for Berlin’s electronic music scene. It mixes modernist, clear Bauhaus design with colossal Soviet architecture and cavernous industrial halls.


BRISTOL IN:MOTION NYE

After a momentous 2018 season across 13 weeks and 35 shows, Bristol In:Motion is reuniting with The Blast on NYE to usher in the new year in spectacular style.

Motion’s primary warehouse space will be pumping out the best in house and garage, headlined by the one and only Hannah Wants. she will be joined on the night by Bristol party legend Redlight, Todd Edwards, Madam X and DJ Klose One.

The Marble Factory warehouse will get a taste of The Blast’s signature drum and bass style with Sub Focus leading the charge alongside massive B2B’s from TC and ANNIX, Kasra Critical and InsideInfo as Circuits and Kenny Ken, Remarc Junglist and Potential Badboy will be joined by Ragga Twins as the Jungle Warriors. The room will be rounded off with two of 2018’s leading talents, Unglued and Critical Impact


FOREVERLAND: Enchanted Forest Rave in London

Immersive Club Night, Foreverland is to bring the fireworks to The Grand, London, for a mega special New Year’s Party.

As part of its ‘Enchanted Forest Rave’ Tour, Foreverland will transform the venue with a custom-built stage-set resembling a crumbling, abandoned temple, laden with foliage, alongside some special New Year’s Eve production.

With a midnight balloon drops at The Grand in Clapham on 31st December 2018 – Foreverland will welcome in the New Year with co2 and confetti cannons, and a celebratory parade of weird and wonderful characters, promising to be a memorable and magical night, not to be missed and all set to a garage soundtrack from original OGs, DJ Luck & MC Neat.

No Foreverland party would be complete without its resident DJs, Taim, Bassic and Bitr8; the unsung heroes of the dancefloor who will get the crowds fired up for Luck & Neat and beyond, with a mixture of all things electronic, bassline, garage, tech house and disco.

It’s the biggest occasion of the year and that’s why they’re bringing a selection of the Drum & Bass scenes biggest artists to celebrate with you all to officially shut down 2018 and kick off 2019!

With 3 arenas of DnB and Jungle on the night, expect to see rising super group Problem Central, General Levy (midnight host), DT fave Mollie Collins, Crissy Criss and loads more!

2018 has been a significant year for both  Egg HQ and their loyal followers who are the legacy of the club. Marking their 15th year as one of UK’s longest running dance music institutions and continuing to evolve with their ongoing building work, it’s been quite an exciting time for all of us to thrive and grow within London’s current soundscape.

This NYE they are seeing the year out in perfect style with none other than one of our favourite techno DJs headlining who’s been smashing her sets all over the world Charlotte de Witte! Also on the lineup are Luigi Madonna, Manu Gonzales and loads more!


DEFECTED NYE

SOUTH WEST FOUR PRESENTS: NYE

To cap off a brilliant year which witnessed a sold out weekend on Clapham Common, SW4 are throwing their final party of 2018, at the O2 Academy Brixton. They’ve handpicked a selection of our favourite artists who have graced Clapham Common over the years and have put on show stopping performances. For those of you who have spent NYEat the legendary venue, you know what to expect. World-class artists, unrivalled production levels and over 4500 people partying into the new year…

The legendary venue has played host to the most dominant names in electronic music. The production and sound capabilities of the venue are matched by only a few in the clubbing capital of the world and you can expect only the best when SW4 take over the iconic space…


THE WAREHOUSE PROJECT NYE

As their final year at Store Street draws to a close, The Warehouse Project is set to end the season with

a bang with an incredible NYE party and a lineup to match. Detroit House legend MK will be bringing his signature feel-good selections, along with BBC Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard, and the ever talented Secondcity. Elsewhere, Tech House stalwarts Leftwing:Kody will be bringing their rolling groovers to the underground carpark, as well as sets from fan favourites Icarus,Huxley, and KC Lights. This might be the final NYE party at Store Street, but WHP have made sure that it will be one to remember!


FABRIC NYE

For their final night of 2018, fabric invites a host of esteemed party specialists to round out the year. Leading the proceedings in Room One is Patrick Topping, whose distinctive style of floor-inclined house has brought him huge success in recent years. wAFF also makes a return to the space, bringing the definitive tech house sound that’s made him one of today’s best-loved DJs. Also preparing to return are trippy house experts Acid Mondays

In Room Two, Daniel Avery will be heading up proceedings with a mix of high-octane techno, buzzing electro, shadowy drone and ambient. Anastasia Kristensen also returns, bringing her distinctive mixing style that puts a refreshed edge on the sounds of vintage techno and IDM.

 


THE WAREHOUSE PROJECT NYD

The day is finally upon us after 11 years of putting on amazing shows with an endless list of artists…A final farewell to the spiritual home of The Warehouse Project, the final dance beneath the streets, the End of Store Street. The end of an era!

BRISTOL IN:MOTION NYD

In:Motion reaches a crescendo on New Years Day with a marathon house and techno all-day session. Having handed the reins to elrow last year, this time they’re programming their own line-up, with celebrated LGBTQ+ party Bitch, Please! chipping in on the main room action. Bringing the feel-good, loved-up house energy to Motion will be The Black Madonna, Palms Trax, Jayda G and Hunee, while Call Super, Saoirse and Batu offer up heavier strains of boundary-pushing electronics in the Old Marble Factory. The Tunnel will be shaking to the sounds of Mella Dee, James Dyer, Five10 and many more, while the Cave features the likes of Shutter and Fractal. With four rooms of unparalleled quality primed to power you through the first day of 2019, this New Years Day party is going to be a fitting send off to one of the most epic In:Motion seasons to date.


FABRIC NYD

fabric kicks off 2019 in fine style, with a six-hour marathon session from Maceo Plex. The acclaimed US producer brings his singular brand of theatrical deep house and electro to Room 1, touching down for a special All Day Long performance. One of the key artists on Maceo Plex’s Lone Romantic label, Vectorvision, also joins as he makes his Farringdon debut to round off what is set to be a very special New Year’s Day matinee at fabric

 

 

 


 

EPIZODE FESTIVAL

Phu Quoc, Vietnam
December 31st – January 10th

After two hugely successful editions, EPIZODE festival will return once more, bringing it’s game-changing musical and cinematic experience, where you are the central character.

Taking place on the island of Phu Quoc in Vietnam from December 28, 2018 – January 8, 2019, this year’s festival will play host to Apollonia, Mr. G (live), tINI, Sammy Dee, Dewalta, Red Axes, Fumiya Tanaka, and more.

These acts will join the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Nina Kraviz, Seth Troxler, Zip and Sonja Moonear for a series of day and night parties on painstakingly designed stages in a Vietnamese island paradise. EPIZODE’s tropical scenery makes it a festival site like no other, boasting white sandy beaches, lush jungle landscape and a myriad of enchanting art installations.


ESTO ES TULUM

Tulum, Mexico

See the old year out and the new year in with the majestic Esto Es Tulum, taking place in the ancient and beautiful Tulum, Mexico from December 28th to January 26th.

Ibiza legends CircoLoco will open and close the event featuring stars such as Seth Troxler, Damian Lazarus, Rampa vs &Me, Job Jobse, Blond:Ish, Gerd Janson, Adam Port, William Djoko, Asobital. In between, a huge New Year’s Eve party with The Martinez Brothers who will play an extended 12 hour set, whilst other brands like Bedrock, Luciano & Friends, Last Night on Earth, Do Not Sit On The Furniture, Muse, ANTS, Acid Sundays and its own “Esto es Tulum” will take place in and between, featuring artists such as Luciano, John Digweed, Sasha, Behrouz, Matthias Tanzmann, Andrea Oliva, Lehar and Kintar and many more, making this the perfect way to end 2018 and welcome 2019.
