New Zealand’s premier house and techno festival Sonorous is back for 2019, on the Sunday of Auckland Anniversary Weekend, the 27th January.
The festival is run by promoters Collude & Audiology who are responsible for bringing the World’s leading DJ’s to the Southern Hemisphere.
This is the second time they’ve put this festival on and follows a successful inaugural event last year featuring James Zabiela, Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy Mantzur. The venue will be Matakana Country Park, just outside Auckland, a combination indoor and outdoor festival venue, a 45-minute drive from Central Auckland but is set in the rolling hills of the countryside on the beautiful East Coast of New Zealand.
Who is up for 2019? well, they’ve just announced the first lineup announcement featuring a host of international and local talent including Victor Ruiz, Eelke Kleijn, Wankelmut, D-Nox, Miguel Bastida, Greg Churchill, Dick Johnson, Heylady, K2K, Out Of Sorts and Sam Lovli. Further DJ’s are still to be announced.
Early bird tickets are sold out. Watch out for second release line up.
Tickets are on sale from www.theticketfairy.com More details can be found at www.collude.co.nz/events/
Collude have also announced a ‘Festival Refresher’ with Sasha and Carl Craig on Thursday 15th November at Auckland Studio. Tickets are on sale from ww.theticketfairy.com
“This is likely to be a road-block event” says Collude promoter Cameron Harris, “what we wanted to do is remind our friends new and old, what Sonorous was like last year and give them a taste of things to come for 2019. We’re so excited about the way things are shaping up”.
