There aren’t many humans on this planet that deal in unabashed, fruity fun like Australia’s Little Fritter.

Over the last decade, the Gold Coast-based artist has peddled his multicoloured good times across the dance scene, first as a DJ and promoter in his homeland with regular slots and residences at some of the country’s most-loved events such as Melbourne’s Revolver, Lost Paradise, Future Music, The BUNKER, Subsonic, and his own Me and You and GOGO TROPICO events, and further abroad at international institutions including Love Parade and Club De Visionaere in Germany, Barcelona’s Off-Sonar, and London’s Spilt Milk, among many others.

As a producer, Fritter’s sound really took hold with a set of releases on Moon Harbour, Hudd Traxx, Catwash, and One Records, with each record showcasing his raw talent for insatiable grooves and tunes that lock you on the dancefloor with intoxicating allure.

And it wasn’t just the dancers that were drawn to Fritter’s rhythms; midway through 2013, he was called on to remix none other than house don Ricardo Villalobos—an honourable tip of the hat from the undisputed master of the groove. His collaborative project Nil By Mouth with fellow Australians Zare and Alex James has also clocked up considerable play throughout the scene and landed a feature on the yearly Circoloco compilation in 2011.

This year, Fritter returns after a brief hiatus—a creative battery charge if you will— he has had a run a solid releases and remixes including his most hyped track to date ‘Higher’ plus he has teamed up with a long-time best mate and man-of-the-moment FISHER to wreak havoc on the scene. Following his usual appearances at Fisher’s HÏ Ibiza residency, Fritter now brings his sizzling energy to Paradise Music’s tenth release with his latest single, ‘Da Phunk Within You’.

Jholeyson and Luis Martinez deliver heavy Latin infused-rhythms to Hot Creations on ‘Chewtastic’. The Colombian DJs unite their talents on the chunky three-track EP, set to land on August 30th.

Returning to Hot Creations, having first appeared on the label in 2019 with ‘Discow’, Colombian DJ/producer Jholeyson links up with fellow countryman Luis Martinez in what will be Martinez’ label debut. Established talents in their own right, the duo have enjoyed solo success from Martinez’s Marco Carola backed ‘YAY BOY’ to Jholeyson’s recent anthem ‘PK Dora’, with releases on prestigious labels including Solid Grooves, Deeperfect, Hellbent and Hottrax.

Fusing Martinez’s vibrant sound, which draws from his love of 90s house, with Jholeyson’s eclectic tones and deep affection for the Latin genres that surrounded him during his formative years, they unite on Jamie Jones’ revered imprint with the zesty sounds of ‘Chewtastic’.

This EP was nothing by chance. My partner Jholeyson and I simply combined Latin sounds and rhythms with powerful reinforcements and launched into space!!

Luis Martinez.

This release is much more than musical pieces; It represents years of effort, dedication and passion. Releasing music again on hot creations is still exciting. Every beat, every melody, and every gripping vocal on this release encapsulates the perseverance and love of music that has driven me to keep going, even when the road got tough.”

Jholeyson

Opening with the lead single, ‘Chewtasic’ delivers a searing beat that dares to get down and dirty under spatterings of soft vocals, combining contrasting flavours into an exciting pumping groove.

Jholeyson then goes solo for ‘Faceboom’, diving into even deeper basslines that grovel and growl under minimal but impactful samples before driving the beat up to its peak. Closing out the EP with a dignified rhythm, Martinez unveils ‘XXX’ and leans into a hip hop-esque cadence, securing the cuts with a confident clutch.

We premiere ‘Chewtastic’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it on Beatport.

Hot Creations welcomes Ammo Avenue as he debuts with his fresh ‘Serial Chiller’ EP. Exploring the ‘game of love’ through bumping basslines and solid beats, the bubbling talent’s EP features three old-school cuts and is set for release on 16th August 2024.

On the rise, Peruvian DJ/producer Ammo Avenue has been making waves with high-energy releases on labels such as Kaluki, Revival New York, and Black Book Records, catching the attention of industry idols including Joseph Capriati, Archie Hamilton, The Martinez Brothers and Hot Since 82.

Fresh from his collaboration ‘The Come Up’ with Maxinne on Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters, he now adds an exciting label debut to his resume as he lands on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ Hot Creations with ‘Serial Chiller’ – delving into the intricacies of love through three dynamic house tracks.

“This EP is about the game of love. It shows the different stages of being connected to someone. ‘Hide And Seek’ talks about that first feeling of attraction, the courtship behind meeting someone and trying to decipher their intentions. ‘Keep Me Waiting’ follows with the counterpart. The duality of caring for a specific situation but not having the right kind of answers. ‘Serial Chiller’, the lead tune, lastly carries the message of finding peace, taking a deep breath and showing up to the next party looking for something funky to happen.”

Ammo Avenue

The punchy ‘Serial Killer’ leads the release with bouncing beats, crisp percussion and funky sonics that escalate to energetic bliss. Then comes ‘Hide And Seek’, diving into a deeper groove with striking chords and captivating vocal snippets for a robust late-night hitter. To close, ‘Keep Me Waiting’ delivers another punch-packing house number with funk-driven synth stabs and unparalleled energy, making it a standout for all summer playlists.

Ammo Avenue ‘Serial Chiller’ drops via Hot Creations on 16th August 2024.

Jamie Jones’ Paradise Music welcomes Karmina Milojevic, revealing two slick tracks across her ‘Play’ EP. With previous releases on Distance Music, Whoyostro and more, the Serbian talent heads to Jones’ label for her latest EP, with the release set to drop on 21st June 2024.

From her Serbian roots, French upbringing, and current home in Ibiza’s magnetic atmosphere, Karmina Milojevic has graced renowned venues worldwide, from the legendary Space Ibiza to the vibrant Pacha Marrakech, sharing stages with luminaries like Marco Carola, Luciano, and Loco Dice.

Honing her craft since her debut residency at WAX in Paris at the tender age of 15, Milojevic now embarks on her most significant journey yet, returning to her house roots as she prepares to debut on Jamie Jones’ Paradise Music with two club-ready cuts in ‘Play’.

I’ve been cooking this EP since I came back from this year’s Rio de Janeiro Carnival. I was listening to some old housey tracks, and I’d come up with this groovy bass, couldn’t stop playing with them! I definitely wanted to get back to the real house music feeling! They’re also born from moments of introspection of my life so it’s such a pleasure and honour for me today to sign on Jamie’s label Paradise!” – .

Karmina Milojevic

Kicking off the release is ‘Playhouse’, a punchy house number featuring sharp drum kits and funky guitar riffs dripping with attitude. Following suit, ‘Playgroove’ keeps the party alive with its pulsating basslines and atmospheric builds for a heads-down roller packed with bounce and groove.

Paul C returns to Hot Creations as he serves up his first solo material for the label with his bumping three-track ‘Let The Bass Kik’ EP.

A mainstay within the Italian house landscape for over two decades, DJ/producer and label owner Paul C has delivered quality house records via a wealth of top-tier imprints while featuring at key clubs across Europe and beyond.

Having made his debut on the label back in 2013 with his bustling collaboration ‘Get This!’, with 2015’s follow-up ‘Pinball’ also proving to be a favourite for many, he now returns on Hot Creations as he delivers three impressive tracks across his ‘Let The Bass Kik’ EP.

“This EP means a lot to me. I wanted to convey the mood of the 1990s music that accompanied me when I used to go dancing in clubs across Italy from North to South but with a contemporary twist. Feeling is essential to me; it determines whether an idea is okay or not. For ‘Let The Bass Kik’, it happened in an instant. The energy came to me immediately; it was almost as if everything was building itself. On days like these, all you have to do is complete your projects and lock yourself away in the studio.” – Paul C.

Opening the package is title track ‘Let The Bass Kik’, a vibrant, energy-charged effort loaded with slinking basslines, hooky samples and sweeping synths to provide a peak time cut made for bustling dancefloors. Next, ‘Can U Dance’ keeps things moving as sweeping electronics and soaring leads are guided by slick metallic drums, before ‘Red Green Yellow’ closes the show as sharp percussion arrangements meet echoed vocals and rich melodies.

Paul C ‘Let The Bass Kik’ drops via Hot Creations on 24th November 2023.

Teddy Wong takes charge with his second outing on Hot Creations with ‘Mueve Los Dos Pies’.

Hailing from Los Angeles and shaped by the vibrant sounds of Mexicali, Teddy Wong has been impressing over recent years, with his productions earning recognition from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard and Annie Mac. After a successful label debut last year in collaboration with Andre Salmon and Jorge Andrade, November now welcomes a second outing on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ Hot Creations for Wong, as he takes full control with his three-track EP, ‘Mueve Los Dos Pies’.

“Having a second release on Hot Creations is beyond what I could have imagined. This EP is all about embracing the energy and the movement of your body when you listen to music.

‘Mueve Los Dos Pies’ is about dancing the night away, and not to caring about what other people think. It’s about freedom and happiness. ‘The Man Who Traveled in Time’ is about a dream that I had. I was walking with another artist at a festival and he heard someone playing one of his songs, but when he went to see who was playing the track he was shocked because it was a younger version of himself. For ‘Believe in yourself’, I wanted to create a simple song that would make you groove without thinking too much. I found the vocal and felt that it was perfect.”

Teddy Wong

The title track ‘Mueve Los Dos Pies’ seamlessly blends energetic, rave-ready beats with a low slung arrangements, followed by ‘The Man Who Travelled In Time’ which heads into late-night territories with sonic stabs and alluring echoes for a hypnotic trip. Closing out the EP is ‘Believe In Yourself’, combining playful vocal loops and vibrant percussion over a funky bassline.

We premiere ‘‘Mueve Los Dos Pies’ on Data Transmission, check it out here and grab it here.
