Spotlight Mix: Zurra

Zurra is a 22 year old Music Producer/DJ from Cambridge.

Having only started his journey as a DJ in September 2015 when he first began studying Electronic Music Production at The Academy Of Contemporary Music, Zurra has quickly spread his name over some of the UK’s hottest line ups, supporting the likes of DJ S.K.T, Judge Jules and many more.

Production wise, Zurra specializes in a variety of genre’s in the spectrum of House music, taking influence from tried-and-tested club classics, and adding a completely modern spin to the formula. His debut release, The Dance Machine (signed to TMTR/Vibe Collective) received support from DJ’s all over the globe, including Tough Love who gave the record plenty of airtime on their weekly residency at Kiss FM, and Danny Howard on his BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems show.

The past year has been an exciting time for Zurra, playing at some of the countries most notorious venues, and even landing the opportunity to play numerous dates in Ibiza during the summers of 2016 and 2017. The future is looking bright, tipped by many as one to watch, with more releases and more shows than ever before.
