DJ Hybrid releases his ‘Push The Dub’ EP

If you are looking for one word to describe Brighton based king of the jungle DJ Hybrid it would very likely be prolific. Since his debut release on his own Audio Addict imprint “Step up” in 2010, Alex James aka DJ Hybrid has unleashed nothing short of a fantastic assortment of Old Skool Jungle inspired belters.

DJ Hybrid returns to the Natty Dub Recordings trenches with the highly explosive ‘Push The Dub’ EP, a collection of 6 of Hybrid’s most militant conceptions to date.

The EP opens with our premiere ‘Just Listen’ which is a pure jungle tear out! Classic jungle inspired stabs and tight stepping drum loops develop into a pumping vintage sounding bassline accentuated by ragga samples and rewinds.

The rest of the EP features space age chords and sci-fi FX, grass roots rave synths and acid samples, jazz chords and amen loops, reese basslines and popping drums! It’s an essential addition to the catalogue for any DJ who wants to unleash those old skool flavours on the dancefloor.
