London club fabric has revealed the first wave of acts for their upcoming 23rd birthday party. The party will include a FABRICLIVE edition on Friday 14th October and a non-stop 30-hour session between 11pm on Saturday 15th and finishing at 5am Monday 17th October.
The fabric Birthday is always a highlight in the London clubbing calendar. Since opening its doors in 1999, fabric has seen countless changes, welcomed various legends through its doors, and kept the electronic scene in the capital moving. This year’s birthday party continues the tradition of Never Not Making Noise with a continuous 30-hour rave starting from Saturday night through to the early hours of Monday morning.
The line-ups scope both UK sounds – particularly bass and garage, as well as the growingly influential sound of amapiano on the Friday night – while Saturday–Monday will showcase some of the best in techno, electro, house and minimal in all its forms, including the quintessential club sounds fabric has become a staple destination for.
For the very first time, FABRICLIVE will bring a South African amapiano artist to Farringdon. Virgo Deep makes his fabric debut on Friday 14th October, alongside Kitty Amor, Charisse C and KILLAMANJARO, all confirmed for the FABRICLIVE edition of the birthday. Plenty more VERY special guests will be revealed for the first section of the birthday in the coming weeks.
The rest of the weekend is set to welcome staple club favourites Ricardo Villalobos – for his second only London gig to date in 2022 – Francesco Del Garda, Craig Richards, Margaret Dygas, plus club residents Anna Wall, Bobby. (Pleasure Club), Harry McCanna – who enlists fellow North/South Records bosses Sam Bangura and Dale Mussington back for a label room takeover – and Josh Caffé who brings back Love Child for a collective showcase.
Techno heavy-hitters Dax J, VTSS, AFRODEUTSCHE, Tapefeed, JASSS (club debut) and fka.m4a add another dimension to the Saturday-Monday edition, with the vibrant and energetic sonics of DJ Tennis and DT fave KiNK rounding off the expansive line-up.
The 30-hour section of the 23rd birthday extravaganza also marks the return of fabric’s 24+ Hour event series Continuum which launched last year and saw a programme of extended events of non-stop feature. More news is set to follow on future Continuum events at fabric…watch this space!
As usual, the fabric birthday will promote fun above all else. Expect fancy dress, special gifts and some one-off treats you won’t find on a usual club night.
