Notorious Lynch returns to Beachside Records with ‘What’s That Sound’

Share

Notorious Lynch, the US-based Irishman, makes a welcomed return to Beachside Records for their momentous 8-year anniversary EP, aptly entitled ‘Big Timers’. Lynch’s ‘What’s That Sound’ features on Volume 1, which is due for release Friday 4th June across all platforms.

‘What’s That Sound’ features another of Lynch’s signature groove style basslines that are fast becoming his imprint. With this driving bassline, ghostly vox cuts, and choppy rhythmic percussion throughout, this one is sure to keep the Dancefloor fire lit. It may even encourage some shuffling, as can be seen in the promo video for the track!

This will be Lynch’s 3rd feature on Beachside Records, following on from the success of his ‘Vibra’ EP back in July 2020, mid-pandemic, which charted across Beatport and Traxsource. He followed that up with a remix for Ecuadorian artist Tex on a track called ‘Booming’.

Lynch recently started his own radio show with Data Transmission called ‘One Dance Left’, something he has been wanting to get back to for a while, having started as a DJ on pirate radio station Klub FM back in Ireland, almost 20 years ago. A preview of ‘What’s That Sound’ can be heard in Episode 002 of ‘One Dance Left’, which also features special guest, Doc Brown.

Beachside Records will be bringing 4 volumes of ‘Big Timers’ forward over the next few months but, Lynch surely has a standout track in Vol.1 with ‘What’s That Sound’.
